Bringing this back from the dead....I say we get a few people together and file a complaint with the local district attorney or their consumer fraud division. I too have a Pre-Auto hood and it doesn't fit. I'm out about $600 bills for a hood I can't use. If you've had issues with Pre-Auto and Chris, send me a PM or post here. Post what you received from him and the money you are out. We'll tally it up and contact the proper authorities.

too bad my $0.02:

I am one of the proud owners of the light kit. Am I happy with it... I am now, at first I was dang... After the body shop spent a lot of time (and my money) to brace it properly (none of his hardware was used BTW), sand it down, and align. (I've spent an aditional $800 to get it all proffesionally installed. But these guys are pros and are worth every penny). I also upgraded the lexan cover to a thicker polycarbonate which is very decent IMO. The end result is that I have a kit that is sturdy as heck and actually looks very decent (IMO).

IMO if Chris would have the spent extra time on how the cover is placed on the tub, provided sturdier hardware, and a thicker clear cover. These light would really rock.

Would I do it all over again... no I don't think so. Would I purchase another type? no. I've seen Rotary Extremes light kit and IMO the hardware was just as cheap, C-west aren't real headlights, Evo R sleeks look 100% out of place, RE amemiya is a big maybe

Suprisingly their hood fit-ment was good for mine however it was straight from the owner of pre-auto's car.

The negative is that it took 6 MONTHS TO GET MY HOOD!

i tried ordering a hood and had some issues as well. The hood made it cracked, then i had to pay for shipping back to pre-auto and for a new one shipped. The second gets there and its shitty according to the shop.

i hope nobody buys anything from this guy. hes a total ******* loser.

id like to think the GB he had on hoods and my interactions/ripping him in that GB thread helped his business fail.
