PINKTSON: bought his car, never got the title- dodging my calls
Like the title says,
I bought the car in this thread:
https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-rx-7-1993-2002-vehicles-107/midwest-roller-forsale-silver-clean-title-832313/
And it got here and then he stopped returning/answering my calls. He hasn't sent me the title, bill of sale, money for front bumper support, 1 interior plastic, or a box of bolts that he said he would.
I just wanted to let everyone know that the bad experience the other guy had with the fenders wasn't an isolated incident. I'm in the process of talking to the previous owner of the car to try and get the title reinstated in my name. And if need be, any legal action again Pinkston will soon follow.

The funny thing is, Pinkston committed multiple illegal acts in selling the car (Missing Firewall VIN and selling a car he never registered in his name). It would have been in his best interest to just take care of the title in a timely manner. Depending on how things go, call up Illinois' DMV and report him for vehicle tax evasion. You can also report him for selling you a car where the VIN has been illegally removed.

I went to look at a car he was selling about a year ago. The deal smelled real bad so I walked away. Lots of info missing on how he got the car. Didn't bother to tell me about 1K in parts missing... A few months later he sold some red fenders to a friend of mine in Kansas stating that they were mint. I saw them in person and they were several shades off than stock and not mint. STAY AWAY
