yeah, Kevin got his money back...along with several other forum members back then. I was even able to get a guy paid back that I found on a Toyota forum....but Richie's latest scams are a whole different story.

The update is this....

at present, this is no longer an investigation that is being handled by any one state. Certain federal agencies have now stepped in...I wont mention any initials(cough cough FBI cough).

Apparently, when you commit bank fraud this many times, and on this large a scale, these things happen...

 

Hopefully they do as good of a job as you were doing.

Recent update...

Up until several weeks ago, Richmond was renting shop space not too far from New Orleans. He has several LLC's filed under his name--a custom car parts shop, a real estate investment company, the already known Prescott Financial Services. He moved out of there within the last couple months. Around the same exact time, he moved out of the upstairs of a duplex in New Orleans where he was renting. He moved out in the middle of the night. His downstairs neighbor was pretty ticked off because he decided to move out in the middle of the night. He is aware that the police have been watching him. He had a roommate and it is believed that the roommate was dealing drugs from the house.

Richmond has been seen driving a 2004 red Z06 Corvette....keep in mind that this guy has not had a legitimate job since probably 2006, and he's driving around in cars like that. More recently he was seen driving a late model BMW 7 series sedan, which is actually a stolen car. The car was obtained through fraud, and he has forged paperwork on it. He graduated from ripping people off on car parts to ripping people off on cars now. Also, he has committed several counts of credit card fraud--he bought thousands of dollars of performance parts from places like Hurst, and then notified his credit card company that he never made the purchases. But he's not very smart--the shipping address for all of those just happened to be the shop he was leasing in Harahan, LA. Not the brightest bulb on the tree, thats for sure.

There will be more updates. A lot is happening that cannot be mentioned at this point. The local police are not interested because he is not a violent offender, but police in other places are interested. I still get emails every so often from people that he has ripped off....I got a new one just four days ago. he's going to make a really nice wife for someone when this is all done.

 

Would be great to hear of a conviction against him.
