Question kesner55 good bad? trustworthy or not??

Good guy or bad guy?

He's starting to wig me out...
I gave him $40 for a downpayment/hold payment on a TII driveshaft.
Then 80
then it took him 2 days to ship it.

Now it's Monday, he shipped it on Thursday and said "it was shipped out this evening should be there soon, thanks shawn"

He didn't give me a tracking number, and he hasn't replied ONCE 'since then...
if contacting him wasn't hard enough before, it sure in the hell is now...

Good bad??
He's still not answering me....

Mmmm. I agree with that.

Just don't know if he's not even replying.
Scary that I can't get a hold of him when I pay, then he says "It's been sent" and he didn't give me a tracking number as requested... :/

Story:
I posted a WTB thread for a TII driveshaft, saying I'm done with BS. He replies "I have one, if you're interested"
I give him a price, shipped(120) I forward him $40 to hold onto it 'till my bank account clears and is verified by PayPal(I canceled my acct. with BoA and got one with a credit union) Tuesday I sent the final payment of $80 on Tuesday.
He said "I will ship as soon as the money's in my bank account"
Why? You SEE $80 coming into your bank account, why wait? $40 should DEFINENTALLY cover the shipping while the $80 is forwarded to your account.
Finally, he says on Thursday(08/30/07) "Shipped it out this evening with USPS, be expecting it. thanks, shawn"
I told him "Can you PLEASE give me a tracking number, it's on the receipt"
he says "I can't find one, they did not give me one"
I tell him "It's the receipt number, USPS does it that way, not a receipt number AND tracking number, it's all just in one, much easier"
-I replied to him around 3 times, I believe, in regards to getting a tracking number and has yet to reply... hence:

'Since then, he has not replied, answered a phone call, NOTHING.


I'm working my way on PayPal'ing a claim for the driveshaft I bought him.
He's the worst seller I've ever had to deal with. Be it cars or computers. No one's ever been like this online.

'Does NOT answer his 'phone number' that he gave me.
'Does NOT hardly, EVER get online, much less reply when needed.

HORRIBLE seller, I will NEVER recommend him again.
He has not answered a PM, or phone call.
He has NOT given me a tracking number or ANY information on the shipping of the driveshaft I've purchased.

I could be mistaken but I have never seen a tracking number on a USPS . I always pay for delivery confirmation and that is the number that I supply to the buyer.

Yup, UPSP does not automatically ive Tracking #'s you pay for confrimation (tracking) numbers extra.

Did you get the driveshaft tho?

+1 Not to mention that once you DO buy the tracking confirmation, it's not worth the paper it's printed on. Just wait a bit and see if you get it, if you don't, then start complaining.

Okay... update. He seems like a better guy, now...

I thought he bought it, soi didn't know.... :\

I'm gonna wait tilltues. If its not here, I'm going to ask him to make a claim to get hisss money back and refund me....

Well did it go by Priority Mail or regular ground? If it went by regular ground, it's probably going to take longer than that. If it went my Priority, then yeah, it could be there by Tuesday.

Then I find your original post on this guy. Your complaining that it took him 2 days to ship? Your complaining that he wouldn't ship until the other $80.00 was in his account?

You "DON'T" ship until you receive "ALL" of the money, Period!
2 days is pretty quick and he replied and informed you that he had done so.

Did you ask him what the expected delivery date was from the USPS?

This is the type of threads that get started on members that make them not want to respond to you.

It's a sign of total impatience and a "Lack" of communication on "Your" part.

I am keeping close tabs on this.

I think what the TS meant when he said the seller was waiting for the money to "go into his bank account" was the actual time it takes for the money to go from his(seller) paypal account to his(seller) bank account... which is BS unless it was agreed upon beforehand.

That said, I think SS is EXTREMELY impatient...

what method was used to pay? If it was an echeck it takes 3-7 days for paypal to clear it and add it to the paypal account. If that was the case then I don't blame the seller for waiting. Paypal even says to not ship until the check has cleared into your paypal account. Now if hes talking about transfer from paypal to bank account I could see being upset with a delay about that.

It was the Thursday, April 30'th.
The paypal was 'sent' or 'initiated' into his account on Tuesday I believe, that or Wed.... 'since it took my bank account a while to get verified.

I've had nothing but great communications, especially seeing as how I've been on every day. and I've asked lots of questions.
the delay was from his PP to his bank account...

-Also, I'm giving it 'till Tuesday, like I've said.
I take back the flammage I was talking about this guy, he seems fine... He sent me pics of the receipt, and I spoke with the people and they said you just don't get a tracking number... News to me, unless I've always just bought it or however you get it? :/

So far it's just a waiting game... it's been around 11 days(today) 'since it was shipped. From West Virginia... I've shipped from here, to New York in 4 days.... that was the cheapest they could offer, too....

I think these shipping companies just steal these ******* driveshafts and sell them to rebuild shops or something... honestly T_T

update and revised yet again.

He said it was shipped on Thursday, but now he has just sent me pics saying the time he paid was 11AM on Saturday... w/e the deal with THAT is... >(
so it's been 7 shipping days(USPS ships and moves on Sat.) 'since it was shipped.

Now I'm pushing it to at the latest, Wed. maaaaaaybe Thurs.... >,>

why does your story change so much? you claimed in the post above this one he already sent you pics showing it mailed on thursday now your saying he just now sent you pics saying it was mailed Saturday. Regardless of when it was shipped he provided you with pictures showing he shipped it, also said he was staying in contact with you or wait you also said he was not staying in contact with you but then comment on how great the communication has been. Yet instead of talking to him, asking him to check with the post office since you feel to much time has taken place and giving him the opportunity to do that you came on here and started up a bad post on the guy when it could be that the post office screwed up. Also since last week was a holiday not much mail would have been moved over that weekend so there is a good chance it was tuesday before it ever left his city. Holidays also back up the distribution centers do to no mail being moved out which can delay things another day or so.

As far as paypal, when you move money from your bank through paypal to somebody it comes as an echeck. After 2-5 days that check either clears or doesn't clear. If it clears it is then deposited into the persons paypal account. This does not matter if your bank account has been set up and verified its just like any check where it takes a few days to actually clear. So if you did a bank draft on tuesday he gets a email saying that an echeck for $xx.xx is being sent, will take some time to clear do not mail anything until it clears. If the money itself was sitting, available, in his paypal account then it would not be acceptable to wait for him to move it from paypal to his personal bank account.

Like I said your stories go in all directions where first its this then its that. You seem to be very impatient and apparently would rather bash a seller publicly then give him the opportunity to fix the problem or at least attempt to if in fact there is even a problem to begin with. I would suggest you keep your buying local so you can go and pick it up and have it in your hands right that instant. I mean your original post you were bashing the guy and it had only been 3 days (thursday, friday, Saturday, no mail on sunday, holiday monday).

I did not say his 'communications was great' I said when he DID get on, he spent his time wisely with me, trying to fix the problem, he, I, or USPS had.

I posted "I got pics from him saying he shipped it"
But I did not have the time to look at the FULL pictures. They were still thumbnails in my email. but I did see a receipt. I finally had time to COMPLETELY look at them, the date was Saturday. Meaning, nothing DID move 'till Tuesday most likely... If he shipped it on Thursday, it'd be clear over here already, and would have been around Friday of last week. Because they'd rush more **** that and Friday(poss. Friday) to where it's not so caked on for the Labor Day WEEK.

Second paragraph:
It was available in his paypal. I know how paypal works. I've used it for over 2 years... I'm not an idiot.
He had it in his paypal, he was saying to wait 'till it was in his BANK ACCOUNT. There's a difference. okay? Don't talk like I'm an idiot.

Me and him are cool. We spoke it all out, if the D/S doesn't come by Wed. I'm going to get a refund, and he's going to get his money back from shipping it. I gave him $120 to try and get it 3-5 day not 7day, but I guess it didn't really work...

I think it sounds like I'm pissed one day, and then 'happy go lucky' the next day, just with the tone of it.... myyyy baddddd

And you summed up what I already said. YOU DIDN"T HAVE TIME OR TAKE THE TIME to pay attention to what he sent you, but you did have the time to come post a bad guy post on the guy after only 3 mail days had gone or actually when no mail days had gone by since it was shipped that Saturday.

Again, you are overly impatient and what alot of people would call out as being a PIA buyer. Posting a negative feedback when only 3 or 0 (depending if you go by thursday or saturday) had elapsed is BS. Stay local it will make you a happier person and won't give what could be a good seller a negative wrap just because you can't calm down and chill out.

Sorry for the flame, just it's annoying when I'm told I'm a PIA when I've been waiting for 2 months, he should understand the frustration if he was waiting for something forever, then it goes wrong again at the last minute or w/e... he needs to just stay out...

What's the difference of Parcel/Priority? I thought they ship around the same dates...

I don't really think my "he's a bad seller" can be justified with just "He told me he shipped it on Thurs. but really did on Sat. and rarely gets on to answer"

They don't get the same attention. Parcel post is low priority mail and when there is a Holiday it gets pushed aside. Parcel post can take 2 weeks or longer to get to you depending on the Holiday. It's normal delivery time is around 7-10 working days. I had a package that I mailed one time during the Holidays to a guy that was in the same state about 225 miles away and it took 3 weeks to get to him during the holiday when I used Parcel post.

Priority mail is just that, and it generally takes no more than 4 working days to get to you.

I paid 'drama' $50 shipped for a TII driveshaft, which is why I offered 120 so it would compensate for a faster shipment.... $50 shipped, to 120 shipped, now he's making more money, and it's getting to me faster... shouldn't've been a problem. :'(

I also keep trying to call USPS to see if I can get ANY information, and they say "no, you have to get it when you ship it."

I even tried bribing one of the dudes... "I'll send you $20 PP if you can tell me wtheck it is..."
