Jdmfantasy/Senza pari

So i contacted Casey at Senza pari to build me a turbo manifold for my 2nd gen. He said that he could and I got him all the measurements he asked for. I also sent him a deposit of $300. I then verified that if it didnt fit he would take care of the problems, he said he would. I sent him my wastegate flange also. The first one he sent didnt fit at all. I got him more pictures and more measurements. I sent that one back. He sent a tacked together one after about a week. That one also didnt fit right but was alot closer. I contacted him and he drew up a design for a third one. Since then he has quit responding to me in any form of communication ive tried. Ive asked for a refund as he is not holding up his end of the deal, once again with no response. So now im out $300 and dont have a wastegate flange or a manifold that works. The work is nice if you can get him to do it! Ive givin him every opportunity to make things right with me and he is refusing to. He has quit responding and has not provided a product that works for my car, and ive already paid him half. He is refusing to give me a refund. I hate to post this in here but i have exhausted all attempts at contacting him with no replies. People need to know what kind of person he really is. He was just online, i sent him a pm and he logged off. That is why i decided to make this public information!!!!

After jacking me around since November I finally get my parts back from Casey and they look great. I went to test fit them tonight and **** doesn't fit right. Not sure I want to buy an exhaust flange or just take it to the local high performance shop and see if they can make it all fit. Oh, and the wastegate dump is routed THROUGH the manifold runners. I didn't pay 800 dollars to get jacked around for 8 months (Nov-July) and then not have my parts fit!

I'll have to agree. The design work and finished products are truly pieces of art. And it did take an awfully long time in order to finally receive my manifold. Once I did get it in the mail I found that it was missing the v-band clamps, and the manual for the synapse wastegate I had him order for a complete package. When I went todo install the turbo flange was making contact with the frame rail. Although possible my motor mounts are bad, I'm in the process in pulling motor to check and I'll do a mock up on an engine stand. I have since was able to get ahold of him and he was supposed to look around the shop for my clamps (I just purchased replacements) and I have yet to hear back from him since 7/24. Will continue to keep posted on outcome of manifold assembly

The original manifold you ordered fit exactly as planned... maybe not as you had planned, but I really cant do anything about that. You had over 100 pictures (literally) showing you exactly where this was going to go, with and without the turbo mountd up. We talked about re-routing the coolant lines and neck, I even offered to fabricate you a new neck. You didn't relocate anything, and you didn't take me up on a new neck. I have several PM's where this was discussed.
I did say I'd get you a manifold that fit, and the first one did. I didn't say I'd make you a manifold that would fit around the coolant lines and neck. They were to be relocated, and they were not. Looking back I should not have even tried with a second one, but I did.

Kyle, your manifold was built around the stock lower intake in our own car. Everything fit as it should. You're using an Excessive, which is why it interferes. That's my mistake, and I'll have it corrected. We've spoke this morning and you'll be sending the manifold back tomorrow for me to correct.

Rob, your manifold was also done in our own car, and again, everything fit just as it should. Hopefully it turns out to be the motor mounts.
I have not located the V-band flanges... pm or text me the amount and I'll paypal you the amount you paid for the new ones.

i appreciate the reply and in no way do i mean any kind of dis-respect. i know the circumstances that you were having to work with by Ross taking the time off with the family. And you have been straight up with me thru out the whole progress, taking the days you were up north with out phone service. this is purely an expirence advizement. im not notating it as a bad one i guess just a general. The final product is amazing i still love looking at it.
ill send you a msg. thanks again.

How bout you refund my money since I have several pms stating you would take care of any fitment issues? Your clearly not a man of your word are you? Pretty sad really.

That is my biggest concern as it will be on a vert. I will get you any measurements you need. I might just wait until I get the turbo to have you start so I can measure that also.

Don't worry about being paranoid, I'm just as determind to make it fit as you are worried that it wont!

Negative, that is indeed a GZ LIM. The two injector bosses you are seeing are for the primary injectors in the intermediate engine iron.

Rich is correct, that's the xcessive LIM which was specified in the emails that I exchange with Casey.
Yes I will be sending my manifold back so you can modify it to fit correctly. However the time that it has taken for me to get my parts back is, I feel, unacceptable. I know you've had partner issues and phone issues, but there were times when I would send you emails or PMs and you were online and then, as siguy2k mentioned, logged off immediately thereafter. Phone is not the only means of communication as we are all well aware of.

UPDATE:
Upon removal of engine I found the passenger side poly motor mount mushroomed and collapsed. At the moment no fitment issues with motor. Will return with more as I get further along. Car is currently stripped and off to paint.

I will be completing the manifold for Skyler as I don't need the negative reputation... although I do feel he did get exactly what he had ordered (well... he did get exactly what he ordered, thats not a question... however he was unaware of the extent of modification required) we have come to an agreement!

Kyle, I receieved your manifold back this past Thursday evening for modification to fit with your Excessive lower. She's all set, and I'll finish the new dump this Monday and have it back out to you.

Rob, keep me updated!

So after taking Casey for his word, he seems to be screwing me over again. I spent extra money for 2 day shipping with the understanding that the turnaround time for my manifold would be 1 day. I sent the manifold out via UPS on August 8th. He got my manifold on Thursday, August 11th and sent me pictures of it "changed" (in quotes cuz I can't really tell) on August 13th. He said he would get the elbows need for the wastegate dump on Monday and get the manifold out to me shortly thereafter. He said on August 18th that he was "up north" (his words) with family and that my manifold was supposed to be here on August 22nd, and its still not here. I've asked numerous times for a tracking number and he refuses to respond to my messages.

Guys,

I think we know the deal with Casey. His problem is turnaround time. It isnt whether he will finish the product and send it back. He doesnt take any longer than ASpec. It is just known that you will wait 6 months for ASpec so no one bitches.

You need to take the time that Casey gives you and triple it. Period.

He is a good guy and will stand by his work/word so no need to worry.

Kyle, I received your manifold Thursday as you mentioned, and had it modified other than the elbow that Saturday. If you couldn't tell that anything was different in the pics, well I find that unbelievable, or, you could have asked for different pics. Regardless, the elbow was added Monday and it went out Tuesday. I did not have a tracking number as I give this one of the guys that works in shipping and they send it out. I realize that that can no longer happen, as I have no control. I'm out of town til tomorrow night, ill let you know where your manifold is at first thing Monday morning. This is killing me...!

Casey, it looked modified, but I really have no way to tell until I get it and have a chance to mount it up. Cell phone pictures generally don't do the real thing justice.

bump, after sending it back to get fixed he shipped it out in the box that I sent it in and apparently you're not allowed to send stuff in boxes that were originally used for oil. Well it was impounded or something and two weeks ago he texts me and tells me he's got it and is gonna repackage it and send it back out. Still not here.
I think siguy2k should also explain what's happening with that situation too...
