Jaiyura - Neutral Feedback

Bought the RE-Style rear taillight cover off Kevin aka Jaiyura.

The first part of the transaction was excellent I must say, Kevin was very patient and understanding. I was trying to group together my purchases because I have to drive about 2 hours each way to go pick them up. He let me pay in two installments, great.

After everything said and done it took him a little while to ship the stuff out but hey I can't be mad at a guy for that after all he had waited for me to send him the money in two installments.

I gave Kevin my "recommendations" on how to ship composite products, I gave him two actually. However, he followed neither of these and the result was a taillight cover wrapped in one layer of bubble wrap which means:

That's the biggest damage but the part also has a cracked paint/gel coat on the far side and edges of what I pictured.

Also, communication between myself and Kevin has been lacking I sent him several PM's which he has not responded to even though I see he has been online (I gave him a PM and waited 48 hrs to respond before posting this) big on that.

I wouldn't call this neutral feedback....... I'd call this negative feedback unless he some how reimburses you or gives you some sort of compensation.

Nothing happened, he never answered any of my PM's.

I am in the process of fixing the tailight cover myself.

Ended up spending almost as much on some fiberglass products than I did on the original product.

Made a sheet of fiberglass from a pane of glass. Cut it into stripes, riveted the stripes to the pieces to make it a single piece and then redid the back with fiberglass. The biggest Pita atm is Bonda work to make it nice and smooth at the Gel Coat was cracked all over.

What do you mean nothing happened?!? That's some pretty messed up BS. I've dealt with him before and he seemed like a nice guy. Did you try contacting any moderators of this section to see if they can assist you in gettin' a resolution?

Well alot of messed up stuff has happened to me. Seems like everything I buy on the forum doesn't come "as described" and usually this is from know members who have been on the forum for awhile. I am not the complaining type just I never buy again from a place or person from which I get bad service.

He hasn't been online since the 5th of this month:

I believe he sold his FD. Maybe post in his regional section to try and find someone who knows him?
