Issues with me as a seller... ChitownR1/midwestbest/MWB/drifted7/Tyrant TT
I think my ordeal started long before any warnings were posted, but I may be mistaken. We're talking November of 2006 here. Believe me I searched for bad feedback on him before agreeing to buy anything, and there was none posted. Ironically I think there were actually a few positive posts (!?) about dealings with him but who knows if those are still floating around. Obviously now after dealing with him any positive feedback posted would hold zero credibility with me.
I would greatly appreciate if any local guys could at least talk to him. I've already asked a local detective to speak with him, but apparently nothing has come of that as I've heard nothing from Chris or the detective for the past couple weeks.
Now I'm having to resort to a lawsuit, etc. which I'm sure will just be a huge hassle, but I see no other alternative. I have been more than patient & accommodating the whole time, but it has gone way too far now. The constant empty promises & lying are just getting old.

The reason I'm not willing to go out of my way to confront him is simply because I was a huge advocate of NOT dealing with ChitownR1, Chris, or any of his numerous allias'. I did my best to get the info out there and for whatever reason a few people decided to either ignore the cautions or didn't care. I still think something needs to be done, but now it's more the responsibility of the parties involved.
didn't this guy say that his car was shot for "TURBO" magazine??? send them a letter and have them post nationwide about what a piece of **** the guy is. otherwise, get an AK-47, and dump about 30 rounds through his pride and joy (the FD, obviously). that would be the ultimate payback, because anything he ripped people off would come out of his pocket and then some.

Tell me what you guys think. Also search chitownr1's old post and many of the things that he is selling are similar. Also who else would buy a vertical lambo door kit

I can't believe this guy. This whole situation is truly pathetic. I really think you all involved need to take legal action. It seems as if he thinks this is some sort of joke .
I have been looking into this, but haven't found much info on suing someone out of state. Anyone know much about this and have any advice?
Mike

First, you guys need to get all your information together with one person, so that the one person can then call the Police Department that's near this guy. That one person will talk to a detective and then that detective will go out to the guys house to question him about said evidence. If the guy doesn't budge on it, the detective will give you advice on what your next course of action will be. I think there are a few options, but I'm not sure, I'll have to look into it myself.
But yeah, basically somebody needs to compile all the information about everyone he's scammed. You need names, dates, emails, payment receipts, the whole nine yards.

If he lived in Cali I would be happy to HIT him up for all of you.
And YES Take his assless butt to court.
I'm sure you will all get a settlement and penaltys from him.
DO IT.
I am currently helping my lady with her small claims court on getting her deposit back with interest for 6 months since old landlord decided not to give her deposit back and forged the rental agreements =)
Were looking at all the deposit back and interest + penalties.
I'm sure anybody wouldn't want any legal matters on their record.
Anyways I never been scammed oh nm
I remember ordering on E-bay grounding cabels and never got them.
Whatever 20 bux to learn someones reputation is cheap price to pay.

"You probably don't know this but the Mazda RX7 R1 is the rarest production model car Mazda has ever produced with a total of 1300 made in the world. To further drive my point home here, Mazda only shipped around 5,000 RX7 total to the USA. 98% of those shipped were base models and touring models, so you can see why the R1 is so rare. If you are not familiar with the R1 it is the full race edition of the RX7 that Mazda produced. It has a solid body design that keep it on the track better then any other RX7. The concaved roof is a signature of a R1 so that the air moving over the top of the car has optimal resistance and flow direction. The R1 also comes with extreme upgrades from the factory like full race suspension and dual oil coolers. The R1 also has some of the first synthetic micro suade ever produced on the seats to hold the driver in firmly and comfortably. Another way of knowing it's a R1 is the signature strut tower bars they place in the front and rear of the R1."
What a ******* LOSER!
Let's see, he's wrong on the production numbers, wrong on his 98%, can't spell 'suede,' wrong on the rear strut bar.....'extreme' upgrades huh? If you're reading this Chris-----my FD is tens times nicer than yours, and I actually PAID for all my own mods. Eat ****, buddy!
