I agree and I never should of trusted him. I was trying to buy these parts along with the engine for 2 months. He sold the engine out from under me with zero communication. However he sold it for 1200 so someone got a great deal and if he'd done as promised w/ the parts I bought I would of benefitted from a good deal as well. No doubt at this point I feel incredibly stupid for sending him a check but that's what sucks about being a victim of any crime, all the anger etc...., bottomline is; I took a chance on Ben and it clearly didn't pay off.

I've spoken w/ him several times on the phone and I really think he's just a mixed up kid and not some professional con man but at the same time when you do damage to other humans or any living creature it dims your light a whole lot more than theirs. I've done some evil things in my life and recret every single one of them. Truth and honesty really is the key to happiness and that's why this forum and it's members should show a lot less hate and turn up the love ****, I know, I know but hey I just came from church

fritz the tranny was delivered this morning only thing left of yours i have is the drive shaft and starter ben completely flaked on cleaning i guess thats above his pay grade

anyways just keep me informed on what you want to do with those two parts

oh by the way the motor he sold was rusted on the inside and had two stuck apex seals so you would have had to do a basic rebuild on it the guy that bought it found that out

Once again thanks for everything you've done for me it's been the bright side to an otherwise shady deal.

I haven't heard anything from Ben for over a week so I can only assume he's fine with stealing from me so I'll write a letter to Aaron tomorrow and let him know that cashing a check from someone with no regard for what that check was written for could be a problem.

 

Ohhh man this whole thing is sickening. Sorry to hear such an outstanding and vital member of the forum is getting screwed like this. I know this doesn't help but I hope everything turns out ok for you on this deal.

Ben came and picked up the drive shaft and starter and also didnt clean or take any of his trash

when he got in contact with my mom he told her that he was moving in a week and that was on 12-4 dont know if its true or not

 

This is getting really frustrating. It seems that Ben is logging in every day but can't ship these parts out. You need to post up Ben if you read this.

 

Ben PM'd me last night and we are again heading in the right direction.

Once this is completely settled I'll update the thread.
