That really sucks. If it was me I would be at the guy's house...Was there a bill of sale or anything written up and signed stating the condition of the motor? Maybe I can help you out on a rebuild.
This punk SCREWED me over too . He was a friend before this all happenned . He is POS and time is going to be his worst friend . I hope you have some type of receipt or maybe even print out his PM's to you . Come back to New Port News and spend $ 30.00 and let the judge handle it out from there .
Good luck
Let me know if I can help out in any way .

I honestly don't get why this is his fault (based on your description of the events...which I may have misinterpreted. Next time use some punctuation, please). The engine had barely been broken in, and you were taking it to the dyno? It started and worked fine before you added stuff to it, then it broke, and now it's his fault?
Not sticking up for a bad guy, here...check around this section and you'll see I don't do anything like that. I was screwed over on this board, too, and hate scammers more than anything. However, if it worked fine when you bought it - I don't see how it's automatically his fault that it didn't work after you added stuff to it.

OK, I re-read that and see what he's talking about. Honestly, once I start in on a post that long without proper grammar, spacing, or paragraphs my eyes start to gloss over.
That sucks, and thanks for the extra link. Can't stand people who sell things in a different condition than it actually is, as if the buyer isn't going to eventually find out, or be able to do anything once they do.
