Dregg100 sold me GARBAGE

This sale was a Greddy Power Extreme catback for an FC.

I bought this off him on October 5th 2010. It took a while to come in but it came. I never opened the box when it first came in because it was cold out and was going to be put in the corner of the garage with all my other parts that I collect over the winter. I assumed it was fine and that was that. I should have opened it and its nobodys fault but mine that I didnt.

A few weeks ago the weather started to break here and I figured Id pull the exhaust out and clean/polish it up. I pulled the cans out of the box to find them destroyed.

I paid 225 shipped for this so it would have been a good deal.

Here are the 2 pre-purchase pictures dregg100 sent me off the exhaust through e-mail. Notice how no damage is shown and 1 can is conviently in bubble wrap.

well thanks to my friend for letting me know about this thread, i havent been on the forum in quite a while.

anyway...there was no damage to this exhaust when i shipped it. i sent this to you MONTHS ago. for all i know you got it and screwed it up yourself and decided to try to take the easy way out. i dont need to deal with anything like this. There will be no refund of any kind and thats the end of this.

end thread

I still have the y pipe in its original packing from you, with its label. I also have the box you sent it to me in. One can still has packing tape on it.

He is straight lying. Im gonna get some clothes on and go to the garage to get the y pipe. Ill be back with more pics.

Know this--if you intend to use this kind of language in this thread, you might find this thread closed without warning. This is not a free-for-all, please mind your manners and follow the forum rules.

If he has current pics showing that it is still in the exact same packaging/wrap that it had in the pics you sent to him, then at that point, it will be obvious that he did not mount the system on his car. Also, he made it clear back in December in your FS thread that the system was still in the box it was shipped in--that he had not had time to hook it up.

Also, the cut hangars are visible in your pics from when it was for sale. Now, most people would not necessarily know that the hangars were cut.....but I have no doubt that with all your experience selling parts that you would know. That info should have been disclosed in your FS ad. We try to tell people because we often run into this kind of issue--the seller is responsible for accurately and completely describing the condition of the parts to be sold.

PERSONAL INSULT REMOVED--I ALREADY WARNED THE OP TO STOP THIS. YOU SHOULD NOT NEED ANY ADDITIONAL WARNINGS EITHER. NOR SHOULD ANYONE ELSE.. NEVER EVER EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS GUY!. He sent me side skirts, not even in a BOX, just one layer of suran wrap around them, VERY surprised nothing got lost as the fender pieces were hanging out. IMAGINE THIS
20degree weather, sideskirts shipped to ohio with no box, i got F-ed in my A. I have so much work to do on them its unreal.

MY THREAD IS IN THIS AREA SOMEWERE

Dregg, you are prohibited from buying or selling on this forum until these situations are suitably handled..... and your last post was about 180 degrees from what 'suitably handled' looks like.

Thanks in advance for your cooperation

I'm also going to chime in here because a friend of mine contacted me a couple months ago in regards to Dregg100. He has his conversations for proof of what's going on with this situation, but basically Dregg100 had agreed to build him a custom turbo kit and because the transaction was taking longer than Dregg liked...he told my friend that he sold the kit to another customer and would NOT refund his original payment.

I don't like to badmouth anyone, but apparently this is no longer an isolated incident. I'll have my friend who actually got burned chime in here.

Riz, the moderation staff is aware of that issue and and is discussing it behind the scenes.

I'd recommend having Claudio make up his own thread for that whole ordeal.

Never posted pics b/c i took them with my phone then the phone broke lost all my pictures. I could post pics now but hell there almost fixed. I guess i could post pics but all i will get is "you did that yourself, wasn't like that when i sent them" as i don't have the original pictures as how they came.

Bro you spent 225 on a full catback exhaust.

The way I see it: 1. You got a good deal 2. If he claims it wasn't like that, put a claim in through the mail insurance 3. File a small claims proceeding against him (gonna cost you about as much as you'll get back).

Cool

Those scrapes and dents look old and rusty.
They don't look fresh, meaning, they were there and not produced in transit or by the new owner.

RED BARON I completely agree with you !

I have seen the same situation and the mods come in and say that it is the sellers responsibility to get it this problem fixed with shipper but if the paying customer it not satisfied a complete refund is in order. it is not a paying customers problem that it was damage from the seller, shipper or ect.

Bro, if you think its such a good deal how bout you buy it off me? That way everyones happy.

Does anyone think I actually used this exhaust, banged it up, and am now trying to burn this guy?

My FC and my SLK get parked for the winter, niether car has moved in months. Notice the rust.

I would never drag someones name and reputation through the dirt without good reason.

The OP said he didn't want a refund. I figured at least a partial one would be ok by him. I'm glad he is asking for a full refund now.

It doesn't matter how much he paid. He should get what he paid for not get what someone thinks something is worth. If you bought a new TV 50% off and you took it home and only half of the display worked, is that ok with you? I don't know about you but I'd say that exhaust and that TV isn't worth anything.
