Just wondering ........ This being my first buy here and my first rip off. Do these scammers usually either pay or go to jail? Or do they just move on and scam somebody else? Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to be an ***, just wondering what kinda expectations to have. In the "real world" this kinda thing is alot easier to deal with. Don't know what or how "internet" crimes are dealt with. Still like to crucify this bastaed though!

Guys,
I had a charge back from this guy. He used a stolen credit card for the purchase - I believe. The email address listed was the krystaldlrs@aol.com address. The phone number was 484-638-4483.
I have the address where the package was shipped. If rx7roller02 gets things moving on this I will provide him with the address. I have already posted the desire for someone to drive by the address for me in the northeast section. I just want to see if it is a residence or business address.
Glad I pulled a search and found his username.

Ok, I'll admit it. I'm impatient. Sooo................... Anybody know who I contact (which police dept. ) etc. to charge this ******. I gotta do something, besides sitting around pissed. Has anyone else filed charges yet? If I was a thousand miles closer I'd get my satisfaction the old fashioned way. But I gotta DO something.

first things first--cool your jets, and fast.
In case you are not aware, allow me to educate you. THESE THINGS TAKE TIME. THEY ARE NOT AN IMMEDIATE RESOLVE. THAT IS JUST A FACT OF THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM WE HAVE.
Want a good example? There's a scamming turd that used to rip people off on this forum, and we're talking about something that started SIX YEARS AGO. He would sell parts to people, keep their money, and then simply disappear.
He popped in here from time to time, with new user names, before I was a mod. He tried to actually scam me personally back in 2003. Since that time, he stole more than $2000 from people on here, nopistons.com forums, and a few other places. Thanks solely to my efforts, he failed at trying to sell a turbo kit on a Toyota forum for something like $3000......because I let everyone know over there that he was a lying scammer. NO LESS THAN THREE TIMES between 2003 and 2006, I got people together, had them send me every documented piece of proof they had against him, and handed the police a gift-wrapped file on this scumbag--even including research I had done, like where he was currently living and working, and what he was currently driving(sometimes including the license tag on the car). ALL THREE TIMES, the police balked at it. Their excuse?? Economic crimes of this sort are not a high priority compared to violent crimes that happen every day. So this assclown thought he got away with it all. By now, some of you know who I am referring to--do NOT post his name here, for reasons I will explain below. Read on.....
Fast forward to 2007....I get an email from a lady on the east coast, looking for this turd. He apparently bought a car through Toyota Motor Credit, never paid the payments, and something like two years later they still couldnt find the car. I did....I found exactly what happened to it. He sold it out from under the bank when he killed the transmission, for parts. The car ended up being crushed. I was, however, after two years, able to track down the driver's door of the car, that was all that was left.
Fast forward to 2008. I get an email from the sales manager of a local Lexus dealer. (I live an hour or so away from this piece of trash) It seems that our hero drove into the lexus place, driving a brand shiny new BMW with 30-day tag on it, trying to buy a Lexus with falsified paystubs and identifying info. Through internet searches, they keep finding one of my email addresses because of all the crap I have tracked this guy doing online....and when the paystubs didnt add up they started trying to search for this guy to find info on him. Thanks to that, they avoided his attempt at fraud over a $40,000 vehicle.
Fast forward again, to a few months ago. I get an email from a cop in another state. it seems that this douche bag is at it again, only this time he's upped the stakes. He now buys cars at auctions, finances them with false info, and then sells them out from under the leinholders. Now, this is very illegal, but in our state it is only a civil matter, so he isnt worried because he thinks he is in the clear. To date, we're talking about TENS OF TENS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS that this piece of trash has stolen--thats right, STOLEN--from others. I can tell you right now that he is at this very moment on probation as a convicted felon here, and that probation is about to get revoked. I can also tell you with 100% certainty that NOW, there are three different states and the FBI investigating him for felony charges. Bank fraud, it seems, is a federal matter, and so no matter what the state law says, our hero had better invest in some serious soap on a rope. And the reason why not to post his name, everyone? Because he searches his name all the time on the internet to see who's been talking about him, where he shows up, and what everyone knows. At this point, he is not aware that so much is closing in on him. Until the hammer drops I want to keep it that way. The one thing we are confident in is that he no longer comes here because he knows his IP address will give him away.
Bottom line---THIS **** DOESNT HAPPEN OVERNIGHT. I am sorry that youre frustrated, but GIVE IT A REST ALREADY. We mods help out of our OWN time and resources, not because being a mod requires us to. If you have this much of a problem with the things I am trying to do to help you, then GET OFF MY NUTS and DO IT YOURSELF. Otherwise, sit back, take a deep breath, and CALM THE HELL DOWN. I asked you to bear with me, if you cannot handle that, then just let me know and I will stop all the things I am doing--and have BEEN doing--to get you some closure here. So you didnt get an answer in your own time frame, how the hell does that mean that nothing at all is happening?
This is the one, only, and last time I will say this to you. YOU dont incur the costs I have incurred to locate information about people like this guy....I DO. YOU havent spent the time trying to get it all together....I HAVE. If you REALLY have such a problem with the help--the HELP--youre getting for free here, then get the hell out of my feedback forum!
Your other option--have some friggin patience. I am trying to get several different machines to move at the same time, in different places even, so the very least you could do is slow your role and stop bitching just because this doesnt operate on your preferred time table.

Roller,
My apologies if you were offended, that was certainly not my intention. Nor was I trying to insinuate that any efforts you are making on mine/our behalf aren't enough. I honestly had no clue how long these things take. When last you posted here 8/26 you were going to the authorities. I waited a few weeks before inquiring again. (thought that info of some kind would be available then) Then a few more weeks before inquiring again, and after a couple more weeks I realiseed that while he may be caught in the end, it would more than likely be quite awhile. If I had known that consequenses were generally calculated in months or even years, I'd not have been posting for updates. My apologies again. However, my statement was made with the idea that the rx7 community is a small one and it's quite possible the he or someone he knows would see the post. Since I can't say "F**K YOU!" to him in person, I needed some form of expression. (standing outside cursing the air didn't help)LOL Knowing now what the long haul is...... I won't further post or vent here. I certainly appreciate what you do for us all, and thank you again.
