Dispute with joeymazda

Ok I had made a thread asking for 1st generation parts, Joeymazda agreed to ship to me a engine rebuild kit and a turbo 12a manifold for 650$ total shipped, We used paypal, payment for the rebuild kit was recieved on 7/7/09 at 2:13 pm. the other payment I dont have the date yet, because i had to use my friends paypal account so he hasnt sent it to me yet but ill post it asap. So i go to call jose, His phone #'s are all disconnected, he gave me another one , its also disconncted, his paypal # is disconnected, his work phone, home phone, everything, he hasnt been active on the boards in mutiple days, hasnt responded to any PM or anything, He said it shipped on friday, he said he would give me a tracking # , but when he returned he said he didnt get a tracking # because it would be to much and he just sent it regular mail, the first time he said he sent it, it never came he blamed it on his secratary sending it to the wrong place. I have contacted paypal and am going through the process of getting my money back but i doubt it will. If anyone has any information on JOEYMAZDA, where he lives, shop adress, youve gone through him with no problems? anything please PM me.

chiquirx7 07-23-09 06:04 PM

he bs me the same way on a R B intake if any one now is adress let me know am only 2.5 hr from Easton,PA

Tobias 07-24-09 03:28 PM

Chiq, Same deal with me here. 150 for shocks and he's become a phantom. I've PM'd rx7 doctor with a complaint.

Zukied 07-24-09 04:12 PM

Question did everyone paypal? I have notified my bank and paypal, ive already gone into a claim on paypal so hopefully ill see my money here in 10 days or less. key word HOPEFULLY.

Tobias 07-24-09 06:06 PM

I did go threw paypal, so I should have some recourse here. To my knowledge, they simply charge back his credit card and we get our money back. I want to give him another day to deliver, if the product isnt here Monday we'll persue the paypal route.

chiquirx7 07-24-09 09:08 PM

Am not give him no more time I did pay with paypal my self and have the claim goIng

Zukied 07-26-09 08:00 AM

dude hes a ghost dont give him another second of time and start the process,

installer67 07-26-09 10:42 PM

Well, I'm just screwed! I sent "Western Union" .......200.00! My own fault I guess. His number says hes "unavailable", and multiple emails and PM's have gotten me no response. Does anyone know if there's any "legal" recourse? I would be happy to file charges. This whole thing has put me in a helluva bind. Not to mention my 7 is still sitting ... begging to be fixed.

Tobias 07-26-09 11:56 PM

It's theft, Installer. If you can find him, have him charged. More then happy to contribute evidence if needed.

installer67 07-28-09 03:12 PM

Does anyone know who you talk to about charges in a vase like this? I'm in WA and he's in PA. Also, once I go to press charges, which I damn sure will! I'll need any and all info I can get on this "JoeyMazda". So ANYONE who has ANY info on this guy, names, numbers, address, friends, ANYTHING, please email it to me at installer_67@yahoo.com. If you prefer to be anonymous and not be involved, I promise not to involve you or mention how I got the info. PLEASE HELP! This will happen again to someone else if nobody does anything.

I have done business with JOEYMAZDA before, and he is very sketchy. He sold me an engine about 3 months ago, and I think the only reason I actually got the engine was because I made him set up an escrow account (escrow.com). This ensured that the engine arrived before the payment was sent. When I told him that this was the method I wanted to choose, he kept trying to persuade me to use less secure forms of money transfer, and he got really nervous and sketched out. I thought everything was good, however, I found out later that he charged me almost $300 too much for shipping. The engine has been top notch so far, however I do not trust him as far as I can throw him. I have sent Tobias his home address (or at least the address he shipped from), and I wish you all the best of luck in getting your $$ back.

heading out to work now, but I will check into this when I get home this evening.....this is a criminal matter guys, and you have a few options here. Let me do some digging and see what I can come up with for you. In the meantime, those of you who sent him money and got nothing, please PM me the contact info you have for him and paypal payment info. If you paid with a method other than paypal, whatever you do keep that receipt! More to follow...

Rotaryhaven 07-29-09 10:11 AM

if you guys have the address, somebody needs to call the local police and take action. maybe print out this thread and fax it to them. This is considered mail and/or internet fraud.

paypal should have his address, then get the nearest police station around his area to go get him....

Tobias 07-29-09 10:56 AM

. His name is Joey Mestre, and the address he shipped the motor from was 1508 liebroad Easton, pa 18040.

that was provided by another forum member. Who wants to be the one who calls the police? I'm in canada, so I doubt they'd listen to me...

Zukied 07-29-09 11:01 AM

Ill Do it! if everyone agress to it, I stand the most to lose (650$), if everyone would PM me their information how much they lost, your full name, paypal adress. etc.. so i can give it all to the authorities.

Zukied 07-29-09 11:08 AM

and its lieb rd. right? not liebroad?

Tobias 07-29-09 12:36 PM

I'm assuming so.. Listen, if you want to give the cops my information as well, I want in. I want my money back, and if they catch the guy I want to be part of that process.

chiquirx7 07-29-09 01:21 PM

Am in,iwill pm you my info as soon as I get home

rx7roller02 07-29-09 08:18 PM

hang on guys, dont call the police just yet. Police departments work a bit differently in different places. For one thing, each one of you that lost money needs--I will say it again--NEEDS to file a criminal complaint. The next question is where these reports should be filed. I will get to the bottom of that for you guys. Some places require you to file the complaint with your local police, while others seem to prefer that you file it with the police where Joey lives. Like I said, I will get that straightened out for you guys. In the meantime, send me any info and questions you guys have via PM. I will help you put this all together. One other thing thats very important right now is that we present this info to the police together--if they see a guy that ripped one person off, then they might not care too much. But if they see a guy that's ripped several people off for a good chunk of money, they will be more inclined to act. So, lets get this information together and I will help you guys get the cops on the case.

installer67 07-30-09 11:44 AM

Count me in!

I'm 100% up for pressing charges! I just need to know who to contact etc. Also anyone else who needs my info for thier case/charges can feel free to pm me. I'd be happy to help or provide any info I have. This guy needs to learn a valuable lesson, KARMA IS A BITCH! What goes around comes back to bite you in the ass.

rx7roller02 07-30-09 04:32 PM

so, everyone wants to be in on this, but only one person has sent me any info....

Guys, look--I put in a TON of time and effort to help people out in here. Sometimes, I have used databases and resources that cost me money in order to help people here. I have never asked for or accepted anything in return...but there is one thing that I do ask and expect--that is that everyone who wants something to be done actually contributes and follows through. I cannot help anyone here if all of you dont jump in and help me! So, if anyone wants something done about this guy, you NEED to drop me a PM with this info:

your contact info
the amount you sent this guy
how you paid it
a link to the for-sale thread you bought from
the contact info you used to speak with him and also to pay him

I am confident we can get something done, but NOT without everyone's participation. It isnt enough to get a couple of you in on this--I want as much impact as possible, as many complaints as possible, because THAT is what's going to make this easier for me to sell it to the police that they need to get involved!
