"But after weeks he sends a full refund as we agreed upon. Do I keep the part and send him back a full refund? Idk. That would mean I am loosing out on MY time and MY money for return shipping due to HIS FAULTS... Second idea send back half and hope he goes away. While I am thinking about this the fedex guy posted a sticker on my garage door saying he stopped by to pick up a package. Come to find out it was sent from the seller. I was once again furious. IT'S NOT FEDX'S FAULT FOR THE BROKEN PART! IT IS HIS! He had a broken part shipped it and is now TRYING TO COMMIT FRAUD! "

I considered keeping the part and send back half to offset the price of the parts I would have to replace. But I decided against that. Hell I considered a bunch of other things as I am sure anyone would but I knew that wasn't the right thing to do. Is it not ok to think about doing things?

thinking and doing are different things, had you gone through with it then yes, it would have looked bad on you if you both hadn't agreed upon it.

some people don't see the difference between thinking and doing and will treat whatever you say as you being able to do it. i am not one of those people.

yes the seller needs to learn, but i don't believe he shouldn't be given a second chance given the circumstances i see here. you are one to judge? you admitted that you considered keeping the parts AND the money... you should be happy no one has really threatened you, yet.
First I don't think you are that good of a judge of character. Second. I was going to give the guy back his assembly after I recieved a full refund. Was even thinking about keeping the part and giving him back the money just cause it would be a bit less stressful. That's the reason the assembly is still sitting in my garage as is. Hell I even picked up a flat rate box when I was at the post office and have it sitting right beside the unit. I was taking my time mainly cause the damage claim on my garage door and the fact of his bad attitude and pushy behavior. That and I was trying to find the best way to take care of this. Aimee made that easy for me this time around.

And are you thinking of threatening me? That is not a good thing to think about... But yet you still do. Sounds to me like you have your own set of rules of conduct and it doesn't apply to you or the bad seller. Now you are really starting to look like an ***. And acting like this while being a forum vendor....

miscommunication at it's finest.

hopefully you understand the desire to want someone on your side when you make a mistake, and you will, and people won't believe you. am i an *** for trying to believe that someone wasn't trying to con you but made an honest mistake and isn't the best with words? i hope not. to you i suppose so, people who have a hard time thinking of anyone else outside their own sphere usually do, and i can't fault you for that being that you feel taken advantage of here.

I see you are still busy editing and deleting you post. Got something to hide? Trying to sway people in your direction? Give me a break man.

I've called you out on your bs. Now I am done with you. You seemed to be like a good guy. But it looks to me like your only intentions here are to protect your friend the bad seller and try and make me and the mod look bad for your own gain. Way to go man. Better keep editing and deleting....

something to hide?

no, i am compulsive editor because i am a perfectionist and hate being misconstrued, even though it is obvious that you won't ever always make your point regardless of the words and how you lay them out. you are proof of that.

in fact, about 90% of my posts are edited. i also hate making 5 posts when i can just edit one, most people won't ever see the difference.

you caught me, i am justaimme... i admit it!

Escape,

Have you decided to wait for FedEx to come by again or ship it through FedEx and I pay shipping?

With this transaction, I had what I got to say, and so did roller. I accept my consequences in doing so. Done.

I will wait for you to send fedex out here again. Please let me know when they are going to come so I can hand the box over to them. Thanks

Wow, will ya look at that?? I found your nose Ben!! It was all up in everyone else's business again....

Ben, from now on, you stay out of these threads....completely. I've had more than enough of going around and around with you. You have no dog in this fight. Make this thread the last time you pull this nonsense. I did not "stick needles under his fingernails". And I do not happen to give a damn what you think of me. You have had more than enough trouble handling proper communication in your own issues with me on this forum, so drop it and leave it alone. You have already shown that you have difficulty understanding some of the rules here at face value, so worry about that instead of butting in where you are not involved. You are not a moderator--stop acting like one. That means you stop getting all involved up in these threads. It means you do not send PMs to someone asking why they do not respond to someone else--none of this is your responsibility. Go back to the first page here--

i know Roller is busy dealing with the house and other things, i sent sm1nts2escape a message as well so hopefully he responds.
that is not your business. I had already sent him a PM. You do not get to take over when you think a mod is too busy to do something, so get over yourself. And fast.

One more thing--dont question me in threads like this again. There's even a rule in the TOS that states this! I do not answer to you. I am under no obligation to explain myself to you. You are not a moderator, which means you are not in the loop with decisions and conversations that I am a part of. You do not know everything that takes place. BACK OFF. This had better be the last time I need to tell you this. You are WAY overstepping your bounds here. I am truly sorry that your business did not do as well as you had hoped, but you had better find yourself a different hobby than trying to challenge what I post here. You have done it in far too many threads, Ben, and IT ENDS HERE AND NOW.

Clear enough? I would hope so....it aint like youve never been told before....

They came yesterday but didn't pick up the package. I had it sitting where they always drop off my packages in front of the garage door with a big note saying fedex on it. Idk why they didn't pick it up yesterday? So I put it on the side porch this morning where he left the sticker yesterday. He already picked it up today. It's enroute.

i read back through the josh thread from start to finish, even though i never could stomach to read anything beyond the first post he made because i knew from that point he wasn't going to say anything but to back himself up 100%.

it made me angry, it was tough to believe that people took his side even though i did everything to try and be sure he was happy with the service including dropping him off at the airport when he dropped his car off. any mention of me updating him right when a package came in to ease his mind that parts coming from england and other places made it safe and the parts ok? no. he was apparently too busy analyzing my work and losing sleep over his car.

people can get a hold of me, quite easily. i in no way resemble some of these shops that dodge your calls or take your money and sit on a car for years. i was getting back at you for even contemplating i was that way in any way shape or form.

i was upset with anyone who took his side. he even sent me another PM angry that i opened the flywheel packaging to be sure it wasn't defective.. i get few positive reviews even though almost everyone who walks out the door has a smile on their face, that bothers me as well because i get one negative and the people then come to my aid to salvage my character and are shoved off, even if they may be the same customers i try to squeeze in the middle of the larger jobs that cause me some headache. most of my customers i consider freinds, even though that can hurt a business.

i just had to read it one more time to let it go. i will chalk it up to Josh's loss.

i'm sorry for questioning you, even though i will always be opinionated and try to stay out of these threads. i can't promise that though, so if you need to do something about it i will understand.

Ben,

Why cant you just follow directions already?

That thread has no bearing on this one. That thread is over, and has been for some time. Hell, I even defended your name in there!! But you still want to beat the dead horse? I already explained to you the problem--you cannot promise a time frame for the job to be completed, and then make up excuses when you fail to hit that time frame! That is NOT ACCEPTABLE HERE. How can it possibly be this hard for you to get? As I recall, you had not even started work on his project....you admitted choosing to do other things instead of start on his car. You admitted that you probably could not get the job done in the remaining time. And you STILL complain because people called you out on this!!!

YOU WERE WRONG to give him a time frame for completion, then not live up to it. YOU WERE WRONG for not working on his car when you had the time to, when you promised him you would be. YOU WERE WRONG for then making excuses that were supposed to justify you not meeting the agreed deadline. If you need to be told that again, it will come with a ban! The rules here are clear enough--and a good product is worthless if you cannot get it into the customer's hands WHEN YOU PROMISED TO.

You actually tried to tell me that everyone with a rotary should know that shops like yours cannot meet the deadlines--but you repeatedly refused to tell me why you give them a time frame then. You repeatedly refused to give me a good reason why the customer should automatically know without you telling them that they cannot expect what you told them to expect! I run a business myself--and if I tell my customer, "it will be done in 5 days", they will not be happy if I am still not done three weeks later. THIS SHOULD BE COMMON SENSE TO YOU.

We are beyond done talking about this. Stay out of feedback threads unless they involve you personally, as either the buyer or seller. That cannot be too hard to understand--and it will fix this issue once and for all. You do awesome work, Ben, and I have defended you multiple times, but enough is enough already.
