BAD SELLER - ivegonemad

Sent Paypal for GAB struts posted in this for sale posting: F/S complete GAB suspension.

Seller and I agreed to final price of 225.00 shipped for the entire assembly offered in listing. Saved PMs in my inbox record the entire conversation. Paypal was sent as soon as I received/read PM (4/30/2007). Seller responded that shipment would occur ASAP. On 5/3/07 seller requested my business address to ship to (vs. my home address lsited with Paypal) so that heavy items could be shipped cheaper. Seller also stated that package(s) would go out the following Tuesday (5/8/07). I responded with necessary information.

No response from seller until multiple PMs sent. Seller's next communication was on 5/12/07, apologizing for failing to ship or respond to PMs. Seller stated shipment would occur the next day, and tracking numbers would be provided. No further communications have been recieved from seller. PMs were sent requesting status updates every few days after seller's final reply. No response has been received.

Seller has been online and posted in threads on the forum since last PM sent, but has not responded to PMs or given any information regarding shipment of goods.

Transaction has been escalated to a dispute via Paypal. If seller is unwilling to resolve, and Paypal is unable to resolve, further legal action will be taken as this purchase crosses state lines.

I would strongly prefer to resolve this matter with seller, but as of yet, seller does not appear interested in resolving issues. I understand delays in shipping, and have had personal and work related issues slow down my shipment of items before, but failure to answer PMs and multiple missed dates which push current wait time over 20 days is unacceptable. He has always been polite in communications, but as of now, I cannot recommend anyone do any type of business with him.

ivegonemad, I'd very much like to settle this amicably, have some struts in front of me and edit this post to explain that it was all a misunderstanding, which I certainly hope is all it is. Please return communication so that we can settle this.

Thank you all,

Blake McBride, esq.

Why would you purchase GAB struts for your car? Doesn't it have one of those piston motors in it? What do you need handling for to go straight?

Maybe you need to rethink you strategy!

Go plumb something. I want to sit on my *** and drink coffee this weekend. The more work you do now, the less work I have to do then.

It's not entirely resolved until I have the struts in my possession (today, according to UPS). I never understood why people get so bent out of shape when there are problems. Professional handling is always best. In this case, the seller was very busy and had trouble getting them shipped. It happens.

I recieved the suspension as described.

Thanks Alex (Ivegonemad) for getting this all taken care of. Suspension looks and works great.

I rescind my bad seller comments.
