WHoa Whoa buddy. I never agreed to your "meeting" at Costco. You said you wanted to send your nephew to get the money and I said NO> I want to put the money in YOUR hands so that this **** will end. You said you were going out of town and would let me know when you got back so we (you and I, noone else) can meet to take care of this issue.

Perhaps if he made more effort to contact me that day and whether or not it is certain I could make it, we would have been over this whole deal.Nothing was ever said in stone and I wasn't available so obviously I'm not a t full fault. see, thats the problem here. You told him you would let him know if you couldnt make it. You never told him that you couldnt make it. A reasonable person would assume that, since you already knew the place and time, that if you didnt call that you would be there. You told him flat-out that if you couldnt make it you would let him know....how in the world is that his fault that you didnt call him? You cannot expect him to read your mind, know you arent coming, and call you because of it.

Simple--then stop talking out your back side with ridiculous claims like "why didnt you call me?" when you specifically told him you would let him know if you couldnt make it? YOU owe the money, that makes it YOUR obligation to communicate. Why are you claiming that he should be chasing you down each time you dont call him? Thats an EXCUSE, and you know it. So, let's dispense with the bull already.


Allow me to stop you right there. I will NOT let this be. You want me to let this be? Then stop playing games and pay back the two people you owe refunds to. it is that simple. That is the ONLY way that I will "let this be". Its my JOB here to be involved in these situations, Eddie, so at least understand that much.

i paid Mel today. I feel the weight lifting finally. Lesson learned. Mel is a very reasonable guy and he got my sincere apology for letting it get this far. Hope the rotary community doesen't have a bad image of me.
