Thumbs down BAD - Don't do business with EVO-R.net

I just wanted to let you all know about a dilemma that I have with the above vendor. You may know him as fd3s777 on this site, as well as others. My husband, Brandon, with my best friend's help, purchased eyelids for my 8 as his birthday present to me from this vendor's website well over a month ago. On 8/17, $144 was withdrawn from Brandon's bank account for the eyelids. Angie has sent emails regarding this and the only one she's received a response on was the 1st one she sent. The vendor's excuse was that the eyelids were backed up in paint. She has since sent several PMs & the vendor has not responded at all until today. He has, however, been online (on 8Club) almost every day over the past month and 1/2. In his PM back to Angie today, he referred to a lip spoiler.... does he not pay attention to what his customers have purchased or what item they're asking for information on?! In addition, Angie has called the # listed on the vendor's website, but there has been no answer so she's had to leave messages with no return call from the vendor. She's also gone so far as to try a fax, but still nothing.

If anyone is thinking about purchasing from him, I DON'T recommend it. At this point, we're out $144 and we've received no eyelids. Needless to say, Brandon is just a little upset - not just about the money, but about the fact that he hasn't been able to give me the gift that he ordered for my birthday and now it's no longer a surprise. Shame on EVO-R.net/fd3s777 for stealing from people.

Thanks for the heads up. I was just about to purchase an intake manifold cover from them. It will wait a little while now.

Unhappy

This is not cool at all. I did email Angela about this. Did tell here that there are some delay from manufacture for the eyelids. She said she is willing to wait. I even did ask if she want a refund first. But she said can wait. First of all you are not the person I direct deal with. If you don't know exact detail of this transaction. PLEASE do not run around different forums and post bad thing about our company. I do alot of sales on this forum. If you do some search, most people are happy with our stuff. I always try to resolve problems that customers have. I'm a true business man. I do not steal! Order was place on 8-16 under Vickey Meyers. I know all about this. At this point I'm refunding you full amount.

BTW PAYPAL Refund (ID #89418313UT725952M)

You're right.... it isn't cool...... what YOU'RE doing to people. I'm very aware of the details of this transaction considering that my husband and best friend are the ones that placed the order with you AND because I've seen the PM's and emails that you chose to ignore. If you're going to post an item as being "in stock" then I suggest you ship it as soon as you take someone's money for that item. You haven't done that. As for me posting bad things on forums..... I posted the same thing that's posted here and others have every right to know exactly what kind of company they're going to be dealing with should they decide to purchase something from you. You say "I always try to resolve problems that customers have. I'm a true business man.". I HIGHLY disagree. Why is it that it has taken 2 different threads on here, as well as a thread on 3 other forums to even get a response from you regarding this matter? YOU need to take a very serious look at how you handle business if you don't want people posting threads like this one.

As far as how our product is? Picture speaks for itself. I'm sorry not able to do business with you. Hope the best on your 8s. I'll remove in stock on our site. Once in stock again, I'll change it.

FYI: I am others have done tons of business with EVO-R.net in the past and have always had extremely good service. He is prompt and always delivers. I have had things on back order before with him and he told me right when I ordered like he told you. I waited as you should be used to when ordering from over seas and got my product in pristine condition. EVO-R.net is a valued member of this site and if this did happen the way you said it did I am sure it was a minor hicup in a otherwise great company.

well i can vouch for the OP that Jay over at EVO-R is LOUSY at handling his customers.

we have had bad problems with his fender vents for the RX8 over at rx8club.com and he is ignoring all of us. he promises to replace them or refund our money and he does neither. he doesn't answer PMs. he doesn't answer emails. he does NOTHING.

you can see this ongoing thread to see what I'm talking about:

http://www.rx8club.com/showthread.php?t=95044&page=39

don't deal with EVO-R.

dude, I am sorry, but I cannot buy into this.

You sold products to people on the basis that they were in stock and ready to paint. You now say that this was a delay on the manufacturer's part, that you were waiting for the pieces to be shipped to you. This is where I have to call BS, and here's why:

On 8/30, you responded to a customer who was waiting for these eyelids with the following message:

Very sprry for the delay. I'm still waiting for them form the paint shop.
However, you later changed your story. Suddenly, on 9/27, you declared that this was a "major delay from the factory". How is it that, a month earlier, you claimed that you already had a set from the factory, and they were still out at the paint shop, but then you blame the factory and call it a shipping delay?

I understand that you have a lot of satisfied customers, but when you lie to some of them it paints a bad picture for the rest of us to look at. Perhaps you need to change the way you address such delays so that your customers are better informed of the truth??

I don't think you're in any position to be standing up for other people. Your reputation is tarnished enough that no one should listen to what you have to say. I don't value scammers opinion's and I doubt others on this forum do either!

no, this thread was "resurrected" because as far as we know there has still not been a resolution to the issues and some of us care to look out for fellow forum members. if this guy really is scamming people, and it is allowed to go on without a full accounting, then all that happens is we end up with another repeat offender in here, and I think we all agree that there are already too many of those.

This quote comes from the well know thief/scammer Chris aka chitownr1/midwestbest etc etc. If Chris (who has stolen thousands of dollars from forum members over the years) is vouching for a company, I count that as a negative.
