So out of the 5 parts, from RW, I've bitten the shaft, AGAIN!
Recently got their Gilmer-Drive kit, as well as their V-Mount bracketing kit - both for S5...
NOTHING FIT.... Without modification, that is.
The Gilmer-Drive kit was ordered with a 17mm alternator bore (for FD alternator), but the water pump pulley was a 15mm bore and had to be drilled out to accommodate the 17mm water-pump
The V-mount kit pissed me off so Io bad I sent a SCATHING 3-page email.... To which they've replied...!
Nothing.
****-o. Bupkiss. Nada. Zip. Zero. Zilch.
They DID, however, go so far as deleting my account, so I can't log-in, to their site, for ANY reason (just to hit their 'Installation Instructions' section, so that I could add it to my fodder-collection, against them).
Whatta buncha choads.
Read the email, ad you'll have a much clearer idea as to what all's going on... If need be, I'll C+P it, here:
>>>> Here's the link to the directory, with 3 different formats, of the email. <<<<
The audio recording will also be posted, when I can get the time to set it up and allocate an hour-or-so, to crawling up their asses, like a proctologist.... Figure I'll give them a hot 24hours to mount-up and secure the perimeter, before I launch my assault on their (notoriously CRAPPY) customer service people.

+1 that company sucks. They make bright and shiny products but my experience with them was a product that didn't even remotely fit despite being advertised as a "Direct Bolt On" and then being advised to cut the corner off with a hacksaw when I inquired about this.
What a joke company.

Yea, I ran into the same problem with the waterpump pulley and the alternator housing. I had to take a grinder to my alt housing for the belt to fit. Not to mention I almost lost an eyeball (or both) trying to slip the belt over the alternator. It was so tight fitting that the front metal ring? flung off and flew about an inch away from my face just about as fast as a bullet! That's the only part I've bought from them and I will most likely not buy any other parts from them. My buddy has a Mazdatrix gilmer pulley set and his is so much better quality. The finish, the fit, just overall.

hmmm this sounds all to familiar.... you wouldn't happen to be talking about the intake elbow would you? I remember asking them when ordering if it was a direct bolt-on, then receiving the part and having to hacksaw a corner off also. The joke was on me I guess!Pat
Yea...I'm talking about the Throttle Body/Intake Elbow. The best part is they told me on the phone that they knew it was a direct fit even though it says so on the web site. What's even better is I had to re-tap the hole the made for AI or whatever because the threads were so bad.

There are about 4 or 5 of us in S. Fl with their 90mm TB and NO issues since installed. I have had mine on my FD for almost a year already...
I have heard about the issues you are having so hopefully they will take some of this info and make changes.

I've never heard anyone have issues with the TB except for the studs maybe being too long.
The issue for certain is with the Elbow. On their site they claim it is a direct bolt on to the stock throttle body. Anything but...please see my thread about this issue and their response. Others have had this same issue.
The best part is they are well aware of this and have been for months and to the best of my knowledge still have not updated their website information. Rotary Works is a prime example of a company that makes items that are visually appealing but are backed with less than sterling company integrity much less any type of testing it appears in my opinion.

While I have everybody here talking about the throttle body..
Has anyone done a boost leak test on their car after having the throttle body installed? I can hear mine leaking from the front where the throttle cable installs.

Well put.

So we've established that ONE part is worth a ****....
What about the REST of their cataloge?
"... pure, unadaulterated crap."
You guys will run 7s regardless, 90mm hole is just that. I'm sure a $100 eBay TB will do the Job, Comes with weld on aluminum flange

I'd JUST gotten mine on the 23rd, or so. They didn't fix ****, except the balance of the buyers' credit-card.
Good. The more threads about these poopoo-heads, the better.
The fact that people are till spending money, with them, is beyond me.

I just recently bought their oil cooler with -10AN fittings. They called me before shipping and it was shipped really fast. It looks good but I haven't installed it yet. Price was a little high at $200.

Yeah. They called before shipping and it DOES look pretty bad-as....
But the installation is something to be desired and without ANY kind of formidable instructions, it can become a MAJOR PITA, real quick.

So what was wrong with your pulleys? the water pump hole was 15mm instead of 17mm? that the only issue?
