i never personally asked kevin for a refund until this weekend over email, and he replied saying he is reorganizing his business and is trying to get the refunds out this week. maybe that is why he is selling his FD??

 

I think Kevin's full of ****. When he says 'this week' he really means 'right after never.'

He still refuses to refund my deposit for a TII front spoiler, even though I no longer have the car.

I forgot about it until now. Oh well, next time I go to SF to visit family, I'll get it in person.

 

I also just received a refund of my $300 deposit after emailing Kevin. Thanx for the hint gang.

it would have been nice if he had notified me first instead, but it's hard to complain about getting a full refund. Hopefully, everyone who's owed will follow up based on this thread.

It is upsetting to me that he wouldn't refund my deposit.

I am the one who first requested he make the exhaust guards for FC's with different variations for people with different exhaust systems. Started the group buy, which was a success, and was one of the first to install them. They looked excellent and fit perfect.

So I get in on the TII lip, my FC blows up, I part it out and he won't offer me a refund of my deposit.

Disappointment.

I paid with Paypal. His excuse was that I waited too long for a refund, even though he was still taking group buy orders.

Not quite. I made the deposit immediately when the group buy opened for the TII front lip spoiler. Once they were complete, I no longer needed one, and he refused to refund the deposit, even though he told us it would be refundable.

So, I'm out whatever the deposit was, I don't even remember any more.

 

almost same here, at one point he offered me store credit and I told him he has nothing i wanted and that was over a year ago.
