Details: was ready to buy from japan2la silverfdturbo6port told me he sold blown motors to his friends dont buy from him. So after talking to him a little more ended up buying his motor..

Recived the motor 2 weeks after the date he had told me with no waterpump alternator fuel rails or injectors on top of that broken hoses connectors ect...


come to find out he was talking to me on his freinds phone the whole time.


finnally get ahold of him through email all he says is i give you a good deal on a motor and this is how you act if you can't finger out how to put it together you shouldnt own a fd...





so now im scared to even buy the parts and put it together cause it might be blown or something...




BOTTOM LINE DONT BUY FROM silverfdturbo6port SCAM ARTIST!!!

I'm sorry but a *respectable* member shouldn't go about and tell others not to buy from some people and then turn around and sell you something. My local friends ask me all the time whether they should deal with certain members here and I always give them a truthful response, whether or not I'm able to sell them the same part.


Japan2LA has been a long-standing member and is obviously doing something right. You shouldn't listen to everything you are told, especially if you're not entirely sure of who's providing you with that information.

I do relize now japan2la is very respectable on this forums i was kinda rushing
and no it wasnt a short block i told him i want the motor ready to drop i have the tranny and clutch i would not have paid $1900 for a bare short block when japan2la was gonna give me a complete motor and trans ready to swap for a little more. i didnt want a refund cause shipping to hawaii is a bitch i dont have the money laying around to pay that kind of stuff needed this motor so i can get the car running and sell it because i just had a daughter and wanted to try and get a place. But anyways just trying to look out for people you can listen if you want up to you... Just really sucks how dishonest people are!

it doesnt make any difference at all if japan2la has thousands of positive feedbacks--that would have no bearing whatsoever on the story that this buyer was told. He was told that specific people bought engines that turned out to be blown....what you need to understand is that I deal with scammers every day, and you do not. More and more over the last few years, we have seen people with good records suddenly start down the bad side of things. So what you need to get is that it is entirely possible for that to have happened, hypothetically speaking of course. Now, before anyone gets their panties in a wad here, I am not in any way saying that japan2la sells blown motors. But the POSSIBILITY of it happening has become an increasing chance, speaking strictly from the statistics.

Oh, something else that you failed to take into account....japan2la has had several bad feedback threads too. So, while it is cool that he's got 150+ good reports, you can at least see why someone MIGHT choose to question. And again, before all the haters get all whipped up here, I am only stating fact. I am not in any way criticizing japan2la's business, nor am I endorsing it.

Aside from that you didnt even make it clear that you were talking about japan2la...so perhaps if you would actually say what you mean when you post, these things wouldnt happen.

I dont pass off blown engines as good motors. I guarantee 100psi or better compression on both housings on all of the 13B's I sell. Unless you are knowingly buying a blown core from me, you will not take delivery of a blown engine...

You know, it would have just been easier for you if you had read the whole post I made and not zoned in on one line in it. That way, the question you asked me would have already been answered for you.

What I said was simply this--more and more, we are seeing that sellers who had been reliable in the past have turned to scamming people. NOW, take a breath.....and chill a minute...and continue reading. LIKE I SAID ALREADY, I am NOT AT ALL claiming that you are turning into a scammer. What I DID say was that it is becoming an increasing possibility that a known good seller would turn out to have bad deals recently. THAT WAS IT. You dont have to read into that or try to pretend that I somehow tried to imply something about your business.....I spoke quite plainly in simple English. STRICTLY BY THE NUMBERS OVER THE LAST YEAR OR TWO, we are seeing more good sellers turning into bad ones than we ever have before.

In other words, we used to be able to rely on the feedback to see who the good ones were. While we still can to a degree, that should no longer be the only research you do before you send someone your money over the internet, on ANY forum. As I already said, this comment was not in any way directed at you specifically, so I fail to see where this confusion comes from....

wow i had no idea this thread was up.
So there is two sides to storys always. here is mine.
To clear things up first. At no point is Japan2La a bad seller EVER. look at his trader score it is perfect. so there was nothing bad said by me here and i have never had a problem ever or had bad feed back as i have sold hundreds of parts on this forum.
The story begins with this guy sidewaysFC looking for a motor in one of his threads, asking for a call or text if anyone has anything. japan2La got to him first quoting him 1900 plus 450 shipping THATS WHAT I WAS TOLD. I work for a HUGE recycling yard and it has bad *** shipping prices. so i had a block sitting in my shop from my RHD fd that i have. i sent him emails and Videos YES videos of the motor and clearly was said some parts are missing and he was still interested in pricing from me. so i quoted the Motor for 1400$ and 300$ shipping. So he wanted it. I threw in a brand new aluminum radiator, motor mounts, ecu, wiring harness, and i fresh resurfaced flywheel to sweeten the deal. I sent the motor out by crate after the payment was received and when he got the block he even called me saying he received the motor and all looks good. Then i get a few emails a few weeks after saying i ripped him off that parts are missing. My name is nathan Jonard My phone number is 509-217-7867 there is nothing being hidden or shady on my part. I have great feed back and i never said anything about japan2la.
moderator please close as this thread is useless. I have supporting videos sent to this guy and saved. I will not allow someone rip me off.

And i ask the same question as to why he told me 1900 plus 450 shipping when you were only 1600 with 300 shipping lol. i dont know why he bought from me over u but he did and it had nothing to do with u. I would not keep selling parts and give my name and number and post in here. The only reason I even found this thread is because i check on these things as i buy and sell from this forum alot. This is shitty because here is this thread and it makes a good person look bad. Moderators should alert the member that there is a situation so the other half of the story could be said.

As for closing this thread, you need to know that I cannot do that without being able to see for myself the comms between you two. I need to see what exactly he was promised as opposed to what he received. If your buyer is telling us a story, that will be dealt with, but you need to calm down a bit about this thread. The truth always comes out in these threads, and if youre telling the truth it ends up working in your favor. Did any of the comms between you two take place on this forum?

I dont buy this for a minute.....Here's the thing. This buyer posted a thread here that shows differently. Now, you said that japan2la got to him first, and that you got his phone number from that thread. IF THATS THE CASE, then you would no doubt have already seen japan2la's price....because when "japan2la got to him first", this is what he quoted:

You already admitted that he got there first, so it was clearly there when you found the thread.....I'm sorry, but there's no way in hell that I could believe that he would post one quote in public and then jack the price up on the phone like that.....

this is just what i was told over texts YES TEXTS this all was done BY TEXTS. I did however send a video of the block and me turning it over and some photos ect. SO to be clear there is no messages that was sent thru this forum it was all done by texts and some emails. so it has nothing to do with this forum. As for prices yes i saw the prices posted but he told me differently but that is totally irrelevant anyways as it came down to the buyers choice. THIs thread is open to dispute a transaction that was over text messaging and had nothing to do with this forum. I would be more happy to go to court as i have all supporting paperwork to back myself.

Another thing. This guy did not ask for my user name on the forum or anything. He bought the block thru text message and pics of email. I sent him a message seeing if he was interested in a aftermarket clutch set up about a month after he got the block and now he makes a thread. I was even nice enough that he said he worked for the airlines and gets free air fare and wanted to fly up and look at the block. I said sure thats cool i get off work at 5 and i can come pick u up in my fd but then he decided not to come. On a side note i got a bad part off craigslist, where is the section i can start a thread on that? Just kidding
