I told u thats what i was told. but i guess him saying that i said things i did not you believe? Log into our accounts and read the comments that never took place. All i did was sell a motor thats it... i have my *** covered with pics and video. look at my other threads no problems. this is ridiculous

1--where did I EVER say that "I believed him"? I asked you point blank if you said that---if I believed him, why would I have had to ask you for your side? THINK....and stop talking out your south mouth.

2--we dont "log into people's accounts", genius. If you dont know what youre talking about, then dont talk. Fair enough?

3--your other threads have nothing to do at all with this one. Every transaction is different. No other transaction has any bearing on the deal between you two and this motor.

You wanna know why I called BS?? Here--let me fill you in. It all began when you challenged japan2la in this thread about why he would quote someone 1900 before, but ONLY NOW he comes forward with a lower price.....that right there is the key. If you saw it before, and you knew before that it didnt add up back then, you wouldnt have been surprised now with this lower offer. And not only that, but your complaint wouldnt have been"why did you quote him higher before", it would have been "why did you post one quote and then raise it on the phone?" You were completely fine according to your posts with "japan told him 1900 plus shipping".....I tell you what, if I were in your position, and I was trying to get a sale, I would be asking IMMEDIATELY why there were two price quotes from the other guy. Strangely, you never did....I think its a safe bet that ANYONE here, if they were told one price on the forum and 300 more over the phone for the same motor, would think "scam" and have something to say about it.....but again, strangely, you didnt say a word about it.

As it stands right now, someone's not telling the truth....and it doesnt matter if it went through texts or not, because it originated through a thread on this forum. I would like to see the video and pics you mentioned.....do you have them up somewhere so I can view them?

your listening to what i am say and i am not going to post again. I texted this person about a motor i had. I told him what i wanted and he told me what japan wanted, this is all over text messages. So all i did was text him and he was interested in a motor i have thats it. as for pricing i did not tell him different prices. Again i will repeat. he told me what japan was asking after i told him what i wanted for my block thats it. i told him my price and it was take it or leave it. So he liked my price so i sent videos and lots of pics and even talked over the phone a few times. I think court is the way to go as this has nothing to do with RX7ClUB

And why would i ask or think that japan2la is trying to rip anyone off i am not a idiot and i have been on here for a long time and japan2la is not a scam artist nor am I so i dont need to second guess what japans prices are as i set my price and it was take it or leave it as i dont care about anyone elses prices or bargains.

Thats all well and good, but I dont know you or the buyer in any capacity. So, as I am certain you can understand, we need to get to the bottom of what actually happened here. I cannot have someone running around the forum telling people that "dont buy from so-and-so, they sell junk" unless it is true, just like I cannot have someone running around the forum claiming that you said this about another seller unless THAT is true. I dont know which of you is playing this game and until we know this is not over. I would do the same for you if you had someone here talking trash about YOUR business dealings, so I think you can see the importance here.


How exactly did you get his phone number to send a text to?? Wasnt it on a RX7Club thread? Then dont tell me this has nothing to do with the forum. And then, the fallout of this sale has been posted on the same forum as well. We're talking about you and a buyer, both of which do business here, and one of which is lying. Do you HONESTLY not see how that needs to be handled for the good of the members here? Then again, what case do you have for court? You have not sustained any loss....so you dont have anything to sue over. You need to prove that defamation of character has taken place....how? How could you show a judge that you actually lost something? Better yet, how could you prove that you didnt say that about japan2la? You have been unwilling and unable to prove it here....did you think that a court of law would simply nod in agreement because you told them so??? Dude, I dont know how to tell you this, but you dont have a case, and even if you did, you have no way to prove anything.

You dont care about his prices, and yet you thought enough to ask him in this thread about it??

Bottom line, I will ask again, I would like to see the video and pics.....

If you are not the buyer, the seller, or a moderator, please do not post in this thread. It is this simple. It's sad when people that arent even a part of this sale have to get so bent out of shape, but I guess thats just fitting, compared to the reputation for being rude to others that has been well-known for some time now....

Well, as it stands right now, this is a dead issue. The OP started this thread, and despite me trying to contact him, even sending an email, he does not respond. If he responds, thats one thing but until then this is basically it. In my opinion, both parties are at fault. If youre going to sell something, it is your responsibility and yours alone to make sure that you completely and accurately describe what youre selling. In this case, for example, there is no way to tell if there's a fuel rail or injectors on the engine from the photos. Most people would assume its there because the UIM/LIM are bolted in place, but they are missing from this engine. Sellers--you MUST completely describe what exactly your buyer will get for their money, especially when that buyer's dropping thousands of dollars. It is NOT ACCEPTABLE to be vague and then say "well, they saw the pic, they didnt ask the question so I didnt feel the need to tell them".

And the buyer shares blame for one reason--WhenEVER youre going to spend $2000+ over the internet, you ask EVERY question you need to ask to make sure you KNOW what youre getting, and you dont assume ANYTHING. If the OP comes back and has something to add, I welcome it....but until then thats all folks!

Just for record and not trying to start anything or be rude. but he knew he needed a alternator, waterpump and fuel rail. thats right it had other parts to be installed and they were plain as day on the photos. But he is right. make sure to describe everything and document it all. phone conversations and texting unless you print them out or record them is not going to do any good.
