i need to know how much water you can inject (post turbo and IC) before you start putting the flame out.

FJO will be releasing their HD AI setup in a day or so and i am going to recommend that it be used either 100% water or 50/50 mix.

for those doing 50/50 i want as much alcohol into the motor as possible and at 50/50 i need to know how much water i can inject as that will be the limiting volume factor.

thanks,

howard coleman

the system will work w 100% meth but will require a return line and regulator...

I've put as much as 625cc of water in (post turbo and IC) without any farts on a bone stock FC ignition system driven by a Haltech. This is an S5 engine.

I'd think upwards of 750cc's is possible.

wow....that's more than I thought it'd be.

Sorry howard, I don't have any worthwhile input on your question. I'm going to be running much much less than that.

I think a big part of how much can be injected is how well atomized the water is. The smaller the droplet size the more that could be injected without issues. Obviously the strength of the ignition system will play a role in this as well as the AFR's being run.

I'm running close to 400cc. (preturbo though) and my engine doesn't even notice the water. I plan to increase the amount of water injected soon. This is with an HKS twinpower on the stock coils, and B9EGV's

I have put on one car, over 1.5 litres of water per mintue with 0 break up and 10:1 fuel mixtures.

One jet was 1150 pre turbo

and another post turbo jet 450cc.

I was using crane cdi and trust r7420(rice racing plugs).

how much boost is that car running? Wow...That's a lot of water and some rich mixtures. Is that the same car you posted the pic of in the other thread?
