teflon lined stainless hose

For an application with 2 real sections of hose:

One from the Fuel cell/fuel tank to the pump, and one from the pump to a HSV with the injection nozzle directly attached.

What size hose should be used:

-4 at about 7/32in internal diameter.

or

-6 at about 11/32in internal diameter.

I was thinking that I would use -6 from the cell to the pump (thicker here should=faster priming), and then use -4 from the pump to the valve.

I want to be able to inject at least 1000CC per minute at 130PSI.

Opinions?

For your system the flow limitation is going to be at the valve, not the hose. Changing the size of the hose will yield you zero gain in flow. The orifices in the dual parallel valves are tiny and that is where the restriction is.

I figured thats true, but if I see the need in the future I may get 2 valves and want the lines to support that much flow

That sounds like a plan, but I might do 8 from the cell to the pump, just to avoid having an extra adapter as the cell takes -8. It might even save me a tiny bit of money.

Also, I know where to get -8 SS bulkhead fittings, but they don't have 6 or 4

Hey Howard, did you replace the bulkhead fitting in your jazz sell with SS ones?
