Snow Performance for Supercharger Vert

I have just bought the complete kit from www.snowperformance.net. I know they are pretty big for deisels, Mustangs and other domestics. Has any one used this kit before? I will be running their 50/50 Methonal/Water mixture with a bottle of their Nitro Boost.

It appears that a lot of the hot rod magazines are singing their praises. Was wondering if any one thinks differently.

I am hoping that this will be able to drop my temps as the air intercooler for the Camden Supercharger from ZZ Performance fell through. They said that they would build one for me followed up with "for $8,000." That decision was a no brainer. Don't know why it would have cost so much to build, especially when they said they wanted to get into the RX-7 Camden market.

So with 50/50 Meth and a 175 size nozzle, any idea on what I can expect on temp drop?

I use this kit, it's very quick and simple to install, works well, and a good price.
Can't go wrong in my opinion.

Do you have any info on how many ponies it gives you, or how much it cools the air?

I have run 25psi on pump fuel using it. with no knock, intake temps under boost of low- mid 20 deg. It's main advantage is not in cooling the intake air temps but it's the cooling of the mixture in the combustion chamber, where the benefits of water or 50/50 mix is at work best.

175 nozzle? i don't have time now to research that but if the 175 refers to CC per Minute i would guess you will need to go bigger....

there is a thread in this section on nozzle sizing. you will probably want something in the 400-500 CC/Min vicinity.. Snow makes good stuff BTW.

good luck and keep the AI section updated.

Howard, I am sure I speak for everyone here, but you rock. Your work is what inspired me to try the aux inj.

The car currently doesn't have a motor, trannie or rear in it. I am in the process of swapping out the drivetrain with a TII drivetrain, and just broke open a reman. TII motor to port and put stronger seals in.

The car should scream afterwards, and hopefully I will be able to run the 12lb pulley without worry.

Thanks again.

I run the snow performanace kit on mine. Are you running carb or efi? I could probably prove to be quite helpful for you. http://media.putfile.com/compilation2-57

Mine's a bit of a sleeper, new motor on the way too. Currently a streetported 6 port, soon to be a half bridge 4 port. Plus additional chemical intercooling.

I am running EFI. Its been a labor of love, and financial drain, but after 3 years, it should be half way done. HA!

I also have the complete FC2000 body kit for it, just begging to be put on.

When I was running no cooling system, it was running a bit hot with a 12lb pulley.

I may have to get 2 injectors based on Howard's remarks as the largest injection Snow seems to have is something like 625cc/min. I haven't had a chance to read the injector sizing thread yet, so I am not positive of that yet.
