how is the system wired? I run a coolingmist 250psi setup and it doesn't need to prime, it only runs at the programmed boost.
maybe you could get a boost activated switch and install it so that the pump won't prime and will only run at the set boost level

Good idea. It is wired up as instructed from the aem install instructions, it has a progressive controller. A boost activated switch to give the pump power only when in boost is definitely a good idea for this pre turbo. The pump now has a power wire straight to the battery and a ground wire to the controller which probably gets its power from the ignition, I don't have the wiring diagram in front of me. Thanks

I just ordered a coolingmist Super Atomizing CM7 Injector, this should be better than my AEM nozzles, one of these CM injectors would be much better for preturbo injection but I'll first try it out in my IC pipe coming out of my fmic, and I won't have to buy a boost switch for this location, I do have a check valve. Their site says it will flow up to about 10 gallons per hour, this is probably at 250 psi, and I think it is the same as about 500cc at 150psi. So I'm hoping this is a good size for about 500hp.

I fixed the problem of my water spraying every time I turn the key on and off, which would spray a bunch of water into my ic pipe which is not good for next time I boost when that water gets in the engine, and that was bad for the turbo when I had it pre turbo. I turned up the start boost setting on the aem progressive controller and it doesn't spray when turning the key as long as the setting is above about 5 psi. Also my pump was sounding like something was wrong with it and that's fixed now too. So my progressive controller is messed up with a low start boost setting.
Also I don't really see any benefit of the CM super atomizing injector compared to my aem injectors, the spraying looks and feels the same to me.

I used loctite and it never came loose. But I drilled and tapped a different hole for it to thread into the pipe and used a bolt and nut with loctite to fill the old hole, I should tap it for a pipe plug.
My aem controller is bad again, spraying water into the pipe every time the key was turned on or off, I hooked up a boost activated switch to the wire going from the controller to the pump so now I don't have that problem anymore. And I'm currently using the large aem injector pre turbo which sprays nicer than the CM injector.
