Question Options for W/M Tank

I'm having trouble finding an answer to this question. I did a search on here but found nothing on the issue.

The plastic tanks available don't fit my location very well. The sizes and shapes are limited and none of them work for me. I'm mounting the tank in the trunk and I only have room for a 1-2gal tank.

So my question is, what else is available for tanks?

I don't want to build some complex custom stainless steal tank. And I don't want anything that sticks out like a sore thumb.
I was looking at plastic gas cans as an option. I asked Richard on Aquamist forums and he did not reply. I asked the guys at Devil's Own and they said it would be fine for 50/50 mixtures.
Anyone have more info on long-term use of a plastic gas can?

What are you injecting? And how much? For meth I would recommend a proper fuel cell. It's not to hard to fab up a simple bracket to hold your tank in place. And why do you only have room for a 1-2 gal tank?(just curious) have you seen how much room HC has with a 4 gal cell? IMHO a bright red gas tank of any size would stick out like a sore thumb in your trunk

Well I only have room because I have 2 10# bottles in the trunk. But that is not really the point. I'm asking for options for 1-2gal., not whether I need a fuel cell. I've seen Howard's setup and it doesn't work for my car.

I would paint the tank black to match the interior.

I'll only be injecting a 50/50 mix of water and meth. I'll be injecting enough for 600+ HP.

have you checked out Jaz's complete line of poly cells? i recall there were a bunch of different sizes... they aren't too expensive and would work very well for a water/meth mix. since you are running a mix which doesn't pose a fire hazard you could go w the typical water container that all the AI vendors offer. check out AQ, CM, Snow, Devil's Own for openers. they all sell tanks ala carte.

Sorry guys, I guess I'm not being clear.
I have checked ALL available vendors selling tanks for AI. If you notice, they all basically sell the USPlastics tanks in various sizes.
I want some "out-side the box" thinking here. Some ideas on containers that were not meant for this purpose but that will be compatible (long-term) with a W/M mixture.
I hope this is clear enough. I can't use the limited sizes and shapes normally used.

I'm going to go out and see what shapes are available for gas cans. I'll let you guys know what I find.

Just build a custom tank. Fit it wherever you lik,e with the capacity you need. I went this route on my FC to fit a tank under the headlight.
