Need A Few Pointers With Install

hey guys im about to install a kit on my fd and was wondering what the best spots for the pump, injectors, tank etc are.. just some brief info. what are some good numbers to run on a street ported engine with stock turbos pushing 1.5 bars.. what would be a good kit? anything really that might be useful. also what an average power gain? ive heard lots of different numbers.. thanks!

first off, congratulations on making a good decision to run AI.

that said "stock turbos pushing 1.5 bars" isn't going to happen. 1.5 bars is 21.75 psi. ths stock turbos cavitate and superheat the charge air above 15 psi. you may pump more pressure but it has less oxygen per volume and you will make less hp. you will also lose your turbo bearings. finally to complete the dismal picture above 15 psi you will push superheated air into your motor and generate preignition/knock which will eventually destroy your motor.

if you want to make power you really need to go single. all of the above problems go away.

if you can be happy around 375 rear wheel hp the stock turbos will work just fine around 1 bar.

they will work alot better w AI. you will not make a significant power increase. you will see cold air going into your motor and your engine and turbos will last.

where you get significant increases in power w AI is being able to turn up the boost and run a larger turbo at higher pressure without knock.

the stock setup is maxxed out around 375 airflow-wise.
