Thanks for the details. Could you describe the wiring from the amps to the coils and the best path you found? I assume the coils are in the engine compartment and the amps are in the driver's back bin.
I was researching and charting up the prices and the components that you mention and think that the "overkill" versus the "more than enough" configurations are going to be important information for many of us. Appreciate your findings on this and on trailblazing.
My three projects (after finding a new job to support the projects) are: AI, Ignition changes, sare engine build up.

Right I have just gone and ordered some Moroso spark plug wires and the msd 8204 dual post coil.

My clutch has a knackered pressure plate. When I last went to the dyno, when doing a run upto 8500 rpm it only shows like 7000rpm on the dyno, cause the weak pressure plate causes slip. Due to this I produce more power at 1.1 bar than at 1.9 bar. I will adjust the clutch tomorrow and hopefully it will hold a few runs and I get a 10sec 1/4 and coillect some £100 from captain.
is the jacobs pro street kit overkill? im looking into ditching my msd6a... though i think the msd-8204 and msd-8207 coils would be fine with the 6a. i just need some pro opinions... let me know guys!!
