Mine is near instant and no where near my AIT sensor. tho you should not spray right at your AIT sensor. It will yield an incorrect reading from being saturated.

Here is the 2nd nozzle. More than a foot away from the AIT sensor.

I've heard that there is methanol in washer fluid, but there is other 'crap' in some that i may not want in my motor.

I see a huge temperature drop nearly instantaneously. I logged the IAT with my Innovate LMA3 and you can see the temperature drop. I am running 100% methanol though.

you need a pressure sensor. Wire it into the pump and wire an LED to the sensor. The one i got is adjustable.

I am doing mine now. I am using a pressure sensor from Aquamist (I think), and wiring it to a switch. There will also be an LED wired in to tell me if the pressure drops below 120 psi.

I'll take pics and document for ya.

i don't think that intake temperature readings are going to be the key if you are running water. water gives up it's latent heat in the combustion chamber, not in your runners. (not saying there isn't a little cooling, but not much).

further, i recommend that the AIT sensor be moved to the tube between your IC and engine for heat soak reasons.
