Could i run aquamist methanol with pump gas @14psi stock turbos? i live in the dominican republic and our pump gas is 89 octane only. I have to mix it with vp
c-16 to run 14 psi. Could be using this system running 50% water and 50% metahnol and pump gas ran 14psi without detonation?

yes, running Methanol through an Aquamist kit is perfectly safe.

Whether A/I will compensate for such low octane is, unfortunately, not something I know the answer too...

Firstly, the answer is YES. But it depends on how much you spray in relation to your fuel, right? The lower IATs will reduce chance of pre-ignition. The Alcohol itself has a very high octance and will help raise the effective octance of what is in the combustion chamber. Water suposedly slows the flame front to reduce detonation. Water has some issues with not vaporizing before entering the chamber though. I'm not sold on the use of water yet. I'd have to see more of it used in person. I'm not saying it is bad, I'm just saying that I know 100% alky is the shiznit.

Secondly, anyone interested in AI should go to the Rotary Performance section and read all the Howard Coleman stickies in "AUXILARY INJECTION"

Everything and then some is there.

there is an fd with a greddy t-78 turbo. he runs 14-15psi on pump gas(89 octane) and with aquamist he raises it to 17psi with no problem.

Personally I've got no experience with either AEM or Devil's Own.

I'm using Aquamist, I think a lot of people are using either that (Aquamist) or FJO, don't quote me though.

If you have the tank inside the car you really should have a fuel cell. If you keep it in the engine bay then you can get away with the windshield washer fluid tank (most kits come with a small generic windshield washer fluid type tank).

I have a snow performance stage II kit for sale (without the pump). I am going with a different controller because I don't want my spray to start until 16psi. If you are on stock turbos, the controller would be fine for you, spray starts at 8, and progressively ramps up to support whatever psi you have it set for (max 25psi). Let me know if you are interested $150 for everything but the pump. a new pump (Sureflow brand) costs 125 from snowperformance
