Install my Aquamist 1s for just safety/peace of mind? yay or nay?

I've got a 1s kit with a .3m nozzle. Bought it for my turbo miata, but don't really need it there, temps are under control and I don't want any more boost.

I'm thinking that installing it in my FD could really take some of the nail biting out of using the car. I love driving it, but there is always a loud voice in my head wondering when and if the motor will let go. I have no real reason to think it would. It has 35k orignal miles and seems to have been very well kept before me. Pulls 17+ vac, etc. I've done a 3" downpipe (for heat reduction), a petit AST, and water temp, oil temp, and boost gauges. But as rotary heads, you know that the voice is always there...I just want to quiet him down a little more before I go and do something stupid like sell the car.

I have a very stock, clean, time capsule type FD, and I'm not looking for power. I don't want to do lots of hard to reverse mods. I have other cars I go nuts on. I'd just like to drive the FD with a little less worry, without resorting to PFC, big intercoolers, radiators, oil coolers, etc etc.

So, if I were to install the system, would I have issues with the AFR's? Any supporting modifications that must be done in order to prevent issues?

sweet. one follow up....is the .3mm nozzle ok? I can get a different one. I saw HC's piece on sizing, but it made my brain hurt.
Was thinking about tapping into the stock TB plastic elbow. I can replace it with another one or reseal the hole with a bolt if I have to remove the system. Only mention so that someone can object if that's a dumb idea. Would do the greddy elbow, but can't use that with stock IC.

Check the nozzle sizing sticky on the top of the forum, it should answer your question.

I'm planning to install a 2D in my car which is also mostly stock.

I'd be curious to know how you set things up. I'm thinking of injecting at the TB elbow or down at the primary turbo (precompressor) and using the washer tank for storing the water.

I am running my AEM system tapped into my Greddy elbow right at the bend. Some may say that running it at the primary turbo may be better, but the instructions said tap it right before the throttlebody so that is what I did.
