AI Jet Placement

Hey Guys,

I have read most threads in this section, however I still have some questions/thoughts I would like answers/discussion on.

I am currently setting up a AI system in my car.

My car is essentially this -

Series 8 13B-REW
Spirit R twins made full non seq
Greddy FMIC

In most other setups I see pictures of the jet is placed into a silicone joiner in the cooler piping. I have the ability to weld on a nut to screw the jet into any part of the cooler piping. I plan to have the jet spraying after the intercooler.

Is there any benefit to say having the jet down near the exit of the cooler compared to up near the throttle body?

Will the longer travel distance make the water/meth mix more evenly?

I haven´t place the jet anywhere yet, I would like to put it somewhere where it will work the best.

Thanks in advance for the help!

This is covered in the stickies if you go read them!

It depends of what you will be injecting with your system.
Water only: close to the the TB with the air intake sensor moved to the IC outlet or pipes and before the injection.
Water/alky: way upstream and before the air intake sensor(can be in stock positon).

Thanks for the response.

I have read the stickies but must have missed where this was covered. My mistake.
