What oil is the best??

Hey guys I was wondering what the best oil is for a GEN 3 RX7? I have read the manual and they state that you cannot use Synthetic?? Any suggestions? Any experiences.

Also for gearbox how often should this oil be changed???
Thanks

The oil question is a bit of a debate. Search in the third gen forums and you'll find masses of info from both sides. Personally I stick to dino juice, I use Mobil XHP plus. Rotaries burn a little oil (by design) so you don't want to use an oil that won't burn cleanly.

For the gearbox I'm not sure what I've currently got but next service I'll be switching to Redline gear oil to try and smooth out my notchy second gear.
