Auckland Musicians WANTED!!!!

So I have been playing drums for 14 years now, I have been in some really good bands and also some really **** ones, played covers and originals so I know what i am doing!!
In the past I have found that part of the reason things havnt worked out in the bands is because of common interests, or should I say lack of. It is really hard to find a group of people that all get along and have some similar interests and one of the problems I have encountered is the guys I have been playing with not liking the fact that I am into my cars and spend a fair bit on them. I have a good drumkit, 6 piece Remo Mastertouch. Shes old but she sounds alot better than some of the high priced new ones of today and I have just spent alot of $$ on new skins, hardware and cymbals (along with building up my FD!!). However I am looking at upgrading to a 7 Piece PDP kit sometime this year.

Anyway I would normally advertise on the NZ music websites but I thought I shoudl try here first to see what I can find. I am not saying I want to make songs about cars but a common ground is a good place to start from.

I have a large range of influences ranging from Rage, Chillis, Incubis, Fat Freddy's, Black Seeds and so on. I can play hard but I like to play a decent range of songs and I don't drum like a *****!

So at this stage I would like to just jam with some people, have fun and see where it goes, if you or if you know someone that might be interested, reply to this or PM me oh and please, no freaks, emo ****, munters or muppets thanks.
