I get the forum idea of reading all the archives and such, but there is SO MUCH data on here, that it's pretty difficult to know where to start and what to do.

I wouldn't mind a list of basics either. Heck, if someone is willing to post links that's even better. A list would do, tho, so that a search can be made for more specific info.

I think all of the information is readily available with a quick search.

Find a fuel calculator and add roughly 30% more fuel. Build your system for that amount of fuel at 70% duty cycle at your given power level. Make sure you get alcohol compatible stuff. Build a good ignition system, find a good standalone ECU (don't recommend a PFC personally for anything more than 450whp) , etc, etc .

I ran e85 with just a standalone, fuel pump, cheap regulator and the right fuel filter. That was
When I first started.

Interested in this as well. Are there any negative side effects on the apex seals with E85?

may want to include a way to ensure youre actually getting e85 and not e70. check for sensors for this when you build your fuel system.

The E85 I get is always 85% ethanol....I have a tester and test it everytime just to make sure.

Teflon lines I use 8an feed 6an return, BIGGer injectors I use 1700x2 pri and 2200x2 Sec, e85 rated fuel pump and filter, good ign system I use ign-1a direct fire and most importantly a GOOD ecu like Haltech or Adaptronic with Flex Fuel capabilities.
