what should this be set to for a fd? my iac is kinda noisy. high pitch squeal!
i was thinking of increasing the frequency a bit higher to make it inaudible.

 

I use 250 hz with Haltech's system. That near what Mazda calls for and should be universal to any system.

The base cal file from AEM and all of the cars I have tuned have been 488hz.

Ive tried a few different frequencies, and now it's back to 488Hz. Changes in the frequencies make changes to the faint whining noise. It's pretty audible when the engine is not running but the key is on the ign on position. Is this normal?

 

I've had hums and clacks. Guess its just normal for this getup.
