I had a beta of the software doubbed 1.0, but I had OMP (Oil Meetering pump) issues that I was working out and then I wrecked her.
And I haven't been brave enough to put the AEM into my new ride... plus I have to bring over the Wideband and the downpipe etc... so it'll be a while before I mess with my AEM again...

AEM Map forsale

I just drove my car home today after some tuning by Justin Nennie (Certified AEM tuner in Austin) with the AEM on stock sequential twins. Starts great in 100 degree temp and manages the A/C, too, thank God! Running 550 primaries with 1600 secondaries. Stock 60,000 mile motor with no porting. Stock Map sensor. Blitz SBC I-D boost controller. Full usual exhaust: 3' DP, MP with resonator, Borla exhaust. Front mount intercooler. Y-pipe. We pulled 340 rwhp at 15.3 psi sustained, with the spike to 17 on 103 VP race fuel. We tuned it conservative on fuel/air ratio at high rpm, low 10's, so more hp is available for those with larger cojones. I am willing to sell a copy of the map for 1/5 of my dyno time: $150. Now if you have certain AEM boxes bought for the RX7 before an update, I would need to know as you must solder in two 1k ohm resistors, and I would have to send a picture of where to put them. I think AEM has corrected this problem with present boxes sold for the RX-7, and that info could be gotten from them. Certainly, if you are not running the same injectors, map sensor and fuel pressure, you may have to do some major fuel tweaking, but this map works great on my car. Check out the race results this weekend for SM2 class at the SCCA Pro Solo in Peru Indiana for proof: http://www.scca.org/amateur/solo2/prosolo/index.html

Let me know how it is on Oil after a few Weeks and I might give you a couple of bucks to share the OMP map with me

Hmmm, I'm not very impressed by your power output. 340rwhp??? I'm getting that now with 11psi, stock motor, stock fuel system, stock turbos, and a power fc. I think I'll pass on your map. I sure hope the tuner I take mine to is able to do better than that. If not I guess I'll just stick with the Power FC.

Trevor,
Thinking about going back to the AEM? I'd like to experiment a bit with one to see how it works. I know you had many issues.

Also, Justin Nenni is a pretty good guy and good tuner. He has a very capable Supra which runs 10's, FYI.

I will say that 340 at 15+psi is a bit on the low side but it sounds like you were conservative with fuel streldoc.

So what sort of issues are people having these days with the AEM?

The 340 hp is a 3rd gear pull, on a stock motor with 60K miles tuned very conservatively. On a 4th gear pull with a 1:1 gear ratio the numbers should be higher.
