Outputs.
Outputs.
I have a m1200 ecu and trying to setup the wiring for a Mac valve boost solenoid. Currently all my high current outputs are filled up with i-a-c, ac fan relay, w/m solenoid, and fan relay. I still have 1 low current output available. I'm wondering if anyone knows if I can just install the Mac valve boost controller solenoid on a low current output or should I move one of the fan outputs to a low current and if so do I need to put a relay on it even though it's already connected to the fan relays at the passenger wheel well.
Thank you for the reply.
turns out that my Mac valve is 5.4watts so that works out to be 0.45amps. It also turns out that the low current output is only rated to 0.4 amps. This means I probably shouldn't connect the Mac valve to the low current output. I really don't want to burn out any outputs or worst yet the ecu itself
So, next option would be to switch either the ac compressor relay or my thermo fan relay from high current output to the low current output. Should I just switch it over or should I put another relay on it to ground the stock relay just to be safe.
