Does anyone know if you can connect the S5 up the ECU via USB and use this App to monitor (gauges). Or will it have to be connected via bluetooth?

 

It does work. Should work with any phone that allows usb hosting.

I just put in a request for them to add a boost gauge and a customer for the display.

For example: create your own dashboard. I personally only want to see boost, afr and water temp all the time. Hope they make it happen.

 

I bought a adapter to connect to my phone with adaptive tuner, but my phone is not recognizing the adaptronic. Do you have some pictures for the set up?

What phone do you have. The phone has to have the capability to host USB. I don't have a pic but it is just hooking the usb from the ECU to your smart phone and then opening the app..etc

 

My phone is LG Volt. How can I check there is Host USB function on my phone? Thanks to answering my noob questions.

 

I did a google search but didn't see anything definitive. My guess is that if you have the app and hook up your phone and it does not work then it does not do it.

It dies work with the gs5 smart phone. You need the correct cable. A usb otg cable will do the trick.
