It's been established that it was a technical glitch with the forum software that led to the threads being moved. Nothing good ever comes out of jumping to conclusions and making assumptions......

It was never established here that it was a technical glitch. Threads and also posts were deleted, weeks went by with no explanation. If it was revealed to be software error, well thats the first i head of it.What else were we supposed to think?

But hey if these threads were really moved, how bout waving that mod magic wand so this GB can be closed.

I am a fairly patient and understanding person. And this is me beginning to loose my patience... RAMY you need to check into this thread/GB and get it either canceled and money refunded or the keys shipped out to those who paid. OH yeah, and SHIP ME MY DAMN KEY BACK... I don't care if you are taking exams, I don't care if you are overrun with med-school bullshit. If you cannot accomplish this business AND school, by all means bow out of the business respectfully until you get a hold on your professional career.

Rich, I'm not calling BS on you (you know I wouldn't do that) BUT, I'd find it MIGHTY hard to swallow that only MY threads in MY subforum were being deleted, and that this glitch didn't affect vendor accounts globally.

Moreover, some of the threads deleted were the SAME THREAD, three times in a row.

To add to this, w/o saying more publicly, I did have reason to believe it was done intentionally...so that's where that came from.

oo7arkman, PMed you.

Everyone else, new thread is up: https://www.rx7club.com/fdnewbie-imports-172/gb-spirit-r-key-829041/#post9078735. Lets get 'er done NOW please.

Thanks,
~Ramy

PS: Why someone would think I'd delete my OWN threads and make my life MUCH more difficult is BEYOND me...

To everyone concerned in this thread. I previously mentioned this to Ramy. It is not his fault that the threads were deleted there is an software glitch/ issue that I am educating the mods and super mods on and attempting to get fixed.

The glitch issue is that if a thread is selected (even accidentally selected) by a mod or supermod, that even if the mod moves to another page or section that thread remains selected by the mod. So if he deletes or moves another thread, and doesn't go back to the first thread first and unselect it first, it will move or delete all the threads selected- even if the mod is in another section.

Now also as a temp fix, super mods and mods will not be able to perm-delete any threads.

Again, I have apologized to Ramy in the vendor section and there should not be any additional issues. We were not even aware of the glitch until Ramy brought it up with his missing threads. It is indeed a shame that his threads were where it was discovered, but there were also threads in the lounge and a couple other sections including the new members sections that this happened in. By removing the the perm delete function this should solve any permanent or unrecoverable deletions or moves.

Mark

As confusing as that sounds...... I think that is a pretty reasonable explanation.

Hey guys,

A new Spirit-R GB thread was posted up here: https://www.rx7club.com/fdnewbie-imports-172/gb-spirit-r-key-829041/

MazRx7FD, taken care of. Check your PMs please.

oo7arkman, PMed you today.

Icemark, my apologies for the assumption. Unfortunately, the situation was quite quirky (to say the least), and I DID have reason to believe what I did based on some other drama that happened off the forum. But I'm glad I was wrong

Thanks,
~Ramy
