FS: 1984 GSL 1.1L Carb w/ LSD, 100% Ready to Drive!
________________________________________

The time has come for me to sell my 1984 GSL… Here are the details:

- Essentially I am the second owner. The original owner had a third party sell the vehicle for her (yes, woman owned, DMV verifiable). VA doesn't allow sales on an open title, however, so the third party's name had to appear on the title for 1 day, after which it was immediately re-titled into my name.

- I have an EXHAUSTIVE list of maintenance and repair records & receipts, dating as far back as 2004 (when I first purchased the car). The folder is THICK. Everything from maintenance to oil changes to repairs. Almost all of the work performed on the vehicle was by Bret of RP Performance (http://www.rpperformanceracing.com/), the 1st Gen GURUS!

- Carfax report is 100% clean. I’d be happy to supply the VIN to any seriously interested parties. Carfax certified this FB has having an ORIGINAL 77,700 miles on it when I purchased her in 2004.

- Vehicle now has 126,000 miles, on the ORIGINAL drivetrain (motor, tranny, diff, etc). This car has NOT been abused!

- Vehicle has ALL available options for it’s year
- Power windows
- Power mirrors
- Cruise control
- Sound system w/ tape deck and equalizer
- Antifreeze Injection
- LSD

- EVERY SINGLE PART/FUNCTION/ OF THE CAR WORKS, 100%. I have spent THOUSANDS on the upkeep of this car, to make sure everything works and continues to work flawlessly. This car needs ZERO immediate mechanical attention or maintenance. There are only TWO minor "creature comfort" issues that would require some work, should the new owner desire:

1) The A/C system - which WORKS!!! - has a leak somewhere in it, so it needs freon once a year
2) The heater core has been BYPASSED secondary to a heater core coolant hose that was leaking, and I had NO interest in having to remove the dash to get to it.

Other than those 2 issues, there is not a SINGLE mechanical thing wrong w/ this vehicle AT ALL. If it needed attention, I fixed/replaced it. No questions asked.

- Interior is in GREAT shape. I’d say 9.5 out of 10. NO, rips, tears, wear, etc. ANYWHERE in the interior (minus a small spot in the trunk mat). Some slight wear on the center console (around radio/climate control area), but otherwise interior is absolutely amazing.

- Exterior is ok. Body is straight, has VERY minor spots along the frame rail where there’s minor rust, and some paint chips here & there at the edges of the front bumper. Pics are self-explanatory. No huge gaping rust spots/holes or dents. The windshield has a SMALLER than a quarter spider crack that is STABLE. It's old, and has been through winter without any problems or expansion. The car passes VA safety inspection with it every year, no problem.

- The following parts have been replaced/upgraded:
- Regular oil changes @ 3,000 miles
- Plugs, cap, wires, rotor
- Battery
- Clutch slave & hose
- New alternator (Bosch IIRC)
- Alternator drive belt (including Serpentine)
- Intake gasket
- Shutter valve
- New radiator
- New cooling fan
- New temp sensor
- New coolant level sensor
- New fan clutch
- Resealed oil cooler
- Replaced OMP lines
- New starter
- Brake fluid
- Fuel filter
- Trans fluid
- Diff fluid
- Upgraded suspension (Tokico Struts and Eibach Springs IIRC; it’s been YEARS)
- Energy Suspension Control arm bushings
- Energy Suspension Strut rod bushings
- Tie rod ends
- Main steering shaft adjustment
- Mazdatrix slotted rotors (front & rear)
- Carbotech brake pads
- New bearings
- New rear tires (the fronts are starting to wear down; will need replacing soon enough)
- NEW Bonez high-flow cat (sounds AMAZING) w/ new gaskets
- Clean & lube rear wiper
- New antenna mast
- Tinted glass moonroof
- OEM "duckbill" style spoiler
- Multiple OEM Mazda keys

I’m sure there’s more, but that’s all I remember at the moment.
In short, this is a VERY well taken care of and maintained FB that runs flawlessly. It needs no immediate attention or maintenance, although it could use some exterior TLC.

Location: I'm currently located in York, PA (just South of Harrisburg, and just north of Baltimore). The vehicle can also be made available in Northern VA (the DC area).
Price: $2,000 OBO. Title is in hand. Cash only.
Shipping: Car can be transported anywhere within 150 miles for a minor additional fee. Otherwise, pickup or arrange for transport.

If I’ve left something out or made any mistakes, plz feel free to let me know. And of course, all questions/inquiries are welcome. All low-***** aren’t

Thanks,
~Ramy

What's going on with the bottom of the driver door? Is it starting to rust down there? There is some discoloration on the paint. Please let me know.

Thanks,
Jamie

Hey Jamie,

Yep, there's a small area that's started to rust, which happens w/ time unfortunately with non-Florida/Cali cars. But this def. isn't a rustbucket on the underside. Just a spot or two here and there (as shown in the pics) that could use some attention. Absolutely NO water entering/leaks/moisture problems anywhere though.

Thanks,
~Ramy
