Arrow Interest in Excellent Condition OEM R1/R2 and Base Seats?

If I'm not mistaken, there's a good amount of demand for these in good condition, but there isn't such a good supply of 'em (most of 'em are torn up and in poor condition).

I'm pretty confident I can get these seats (individual and/or pairs, as requested) in GREAT shape (9 outta 10 and up), if there's enough interest. This isn't so much a GB as it is offering a service. So whether it's just one or a ton of ppl, I'm pretty sure I can get this done and in a pretty realistic time period (prob. about 2 weeks - 1 month ETA). So we'll see if anyone'll bite.

Thanks,
~Ramy

PS: Of course, pictures of the seat(s) will be available prior to purchase...so it will be an individual/case-by-case sale basis.

Potentially yes. The way my R1 seats are wearing, I was planning on having them refoamed and recovered next year or the year after.

I can tell ya firsthand that recovering them with essentially the same material is not easy (finding the material for an exact match, and doing all the work from scratch, since no kits or replacement OEM covers exist). But if you're looking to customize your interior and do it your way, that's def the way to go. If you want a quick one-stop solution to getting a near mint set in, and disposing/selling/etc your old set, that's what I'm offering

Ramy,

I'd be very interested in a driver seat in the base fabric, but it would have to be pretty much a 10. Mine is not that bad, but I want things perfect! Bolster padding is a little flabby and the fabric is a bit worn on mine. Let me know if you come up with something. Thanks -Randy

I'm in need of a Base model drivers seat. Ramy, want to trade a Base model drivers seat for a barely used(maybe 5 hours of total seat time) Recaro Pole Position?

Seat trades are no fun =-/ Besides, if you saw the warehouse, you'd realize that I need to get RID of stuff, not add MORE stuff haha

I'd be interested in a set of base (or possibly R2) seats, but as someone above said, they'd need to be pretty much 10/10 (meaning straps intact, black plastics, etc) and, in my case, priced right. (Which I realize makes me sound like a complete ***, but if prices start go to high, other options start to appear, ie MemoryFabs etc)

I'll stay tuned to the Ramy channel and I'm sure I'll get the answers I need...

I have been looking for an excellent condition 9-10/10 base model driver side seat for almost 3 years now. I seriously want/need one of those seats. Either that or I'll just have to give up on my dream of having a complete set and let go of my mint condition base model passenger seat.

Guys, I can do practically mint seats for about $700 shipped (the pair).

Ralphy, you can't buy new seats; they've long since been discontinued. And the R models never came with red seats. Red leather is available, but it's quite hard to come by. So doable, but with a wait.

It looks like there's a good amount of interest...I guess the easiest thing would be to get two lists going (one for R1/R2 seats and one for base seats), and we'll do 'em kinda like a GB, but on a first-come, first-serve basis (they'll obviously be a deposit to join). Sound good?

And again, photos WILL be available.

Thanks,
~Ramy

Ramy,

Will you be able to do the drivers seat only? What would the pricing be?

Thanks -Randy

Yes, I can do individual seats. Price would be TBA (because shipping would be via a different method for an individual seat).

OK, thanks. Put me down for a base drivers seat, assuming you can find one in really mint condition.

Thanks -Randy

Interested in a pair of mint base seats.

Do these come with all the plastics, rails, etc? (Basically is this plug and play?)

Hey guys,

This is indeed for a full, complete seat. Rails may or may not be included, depending on how it's sold. Lets get a list going and we'll go from there.

Thanks,
~Ramy

Well I suppose I can just use the rails from my existing seats if it was really an issue... Plus I'm sure that'll be factored into cost, etc.

List, go:

Base:
1. RX7gp - 1 Driver's Seat (Please correct if I got that wrong )
2. B_Hydra - 1 Driver's Seat, 1 Passenger's Seat

R1/R2:
1.

The difference in base and r1/r2 seats are??? Is it the suede (r1/r2) and base is the leather?

Should of searched but I figured I want to keep this alive to get as much interest as possible.

More interest = cheaper prices.

Yep. Base seats are black leather, and R1-R2 seats are black (dark gray) suede-like stuff.

Really? I was under the impression that base were grey cloth with checker pattern in the center inserts. At least, that's the ones I was thinking of when I put down for base...

I remember having sat in some while shopping for an FD...

You are correct. They are grey cloth like with a checked pattern. I sit in mine all the time
