These hoods took me about a year to get them in my hands, and they are the very last of their kind.

So if anyone is to be hated its the tools that wanted the Sexy Style hood.
I'm just bustin your ***** man, at least some of us that really wanted them got some.

And to that other guy about my intentions to get one.... I'm not one of those cheap FC owners.. I've been able to afford one for several months now, still am, but I really had no idea how I was to go about obtaining one. A good functional hood is what I've been waiting for before I go into getting my car a single color. But the engine swap may come first depending on what I find avail. first.

No longer I guess.

In any case, could you look at what it costs to ship that hood to 94116

The 2nd FC hood is already in its new owners hands.... and eventually he will send you his remaining balance for his widebody kit.

I thought about keeping the hood as a spare myself, I really did. Probably should have.. Oh well.

hehe I know you're just kidding man. I know what you mean about figuring out how to get one of these hoods. I tried so many different ways. One finally worked out. I was so very close to giving up.

I realized when I got home today that I had left my camera at work on Friday, so more pics will have to wait till tomorrow.

I guess I can see if I can source an R Magic hood but I've never seen a good angle on them to know how it looks for sure. Or I could try to source a Border hood and maybe mod it like this. (Borrowed pic posted from 87GTR's hood)

Ok well I know I said I was gonna post pics of a **** ton of stuff I have in storage, but I'm not. Too many of my FD related parts are in there and I wanna keep all stuff related to that hushed until thats ready.

So, instead I'll post pics of stuff I got in the mail today for the FC!

Exhaust Bumper Guards:

Racelogic Traction Control system with Wheel speed sensors for Non ABS:

The last few body part bits are on their way to me. With any luck I should hopefully be able to drop this all of at the body shop soon.

Nope, it doesn't use the brakes at all.
Theres some good info on it here:
https://www.rx7club.com/rotary-car-performance-77/traction-control-646551/

With my TC system I will have Launch Control, Full Throttle Shifts, and Data logging!

awesome project, going to read through all 8 pages with a cup of coffee

I have the green teins on my other FC, too ******* harsh for my liking.
Wondering if adjusting them would make it any better?

No way I would put those on my vert with the roads around here.

Thanks!
I believe all of Tein suspension products are Green&Black. What model exactly do you have? These are 16 way adjustable Tein Flex coilovers. They are not bad on the street, on horrible roads just about any coilover setup will suck though. In the chicago area we have some bad roads too. Thats part of the reason why I got the EDFC to be able to adjust damping force on the fly to compensate for the road as the conditions change. Though the car will see mostly highway miles.

I got it in a Group Buy from FDNewbie Imports.
https://www.rx7club.com/fdnewbie-imports-172/gb-racelogic-674843/

There have been people who have expressed interest in starting another GB. Make a post in that thread and ask Ramy if he can start another GB. I think you will need 10 people to get in on it. We had a hard time getting 10 last time. Even if he can't get a GB going he can still get it for you.

Well, I was pissed off today due to some girlfriend issues so I went to go take a drive to clear my mind. I passed the place where all my parts are in storage and I decided to stop and take my new hood out of the box and take some pics for you guys.

That is Panspeed's last Type II hood for the FC.
Man, that R Magic vent sure looks small now!

Well, I got an illuminated 5 Speed Rx8 ****. The shift pattern lit up red like this one:

As I had planned I yanked out the red LED circuitry and replaced it with my own custom Blue LED setup. What do you guys think?

The pictures don't quite do the blue justice. It looks fantastic in person. I'm quite happy with it.
