That is Panspeed's last Type II hood for the FC.
Man, that R Magic vent sure looks small now!
Man, its not like I'm jealous or something; but could you share your source? I would love to get my hands on one of those

Ramy @ FDNewbie Imports. He may be able to find you a second hand hood. It may take a while to find, since Pan Speed has discontinued making it.

COOL!

Quick question, does it have a latch, or do you need hood pins?

It DOES have a latch. I will be using hood pins along with the latch.

Looks pretty sweet. It'll be nice when you have the entire car together. When does your car go to the bodyshop?

Congrats.

you will have one very sweet ride.

I love the combo hood and widebody kit. I tried to photochop the two together..... it was horrible but gave me an idea of your final result... should be awesome.

keep up the great work you inspire us all. Especially those still looking for a car to start with.

Thanks! I stopped by the body shop on Thursday. They are working on clearing space in the shop for my car. The owner told me that he would be calling me in about a week.

Thanks!

Dave has the same hood, you can see pics of the combo as the body kit develops.

You mean the top corners where it meets with the front corners of the targa top? Right where that little reservoir flap is? It didn't until I went through a touch free car wash where one of the guys with the high pressure hoses sprayed over the top from the rear and water just gushed in there and soaked my left knee. Ever since then if I drive in the rain there is a little dripping there. I got new seals for that area. So when the body work is done it should be sealed up nicely.

Thanks! Its funny you should ask... Since my wheels showed up TODAY!

These wheels are SICK! Deep Dish Chicago Style! HAHA! I got more Lip on my front wheels than most wide bodied cars have in the rear! And well the rear Lip.... the pictures speak for themselves....

Front wheel & tire:

Rear Lip:

I'm still waiting on the body shop to call me to give me the green light to bring the car in. Should be very soon.
