What gap for NGK 6725-10.5 Plugs?

I need to gap my NGK 6725-10.5 plugs. Does anyone know the gap for these? This will be for 30+psi if that matters......

I searched and found that crispeed said he runs .018-.020 but that was in 2002.

I wanted to find out if anyone has tried anything else.

i think it depends on how strong your ignition system is. I used to gap mine anywhere from .025 - .033" The more gap you have the stronger the spark but less gap will be easier to spark across the ground.

I gap my BR10EIX plugs at 0.022. This is a "10" range plug, and I'm running only around 15 PSI vs. your intended 30 PSI, so there will be some differences. I believe that higher boost means that you need either a smaller gap, or a stronger ignition system to get the spark to "go".

Lupe,
I'll check tonight and let you know. I surprised you run the same plugs on your turbo beast that I run on my N/A...

On the NGK 6725 series of plugs I normaly run the gap they come with. I've tested it that way all the way to 11k rpm on both alcohol/gas fuels without any problems and that was using MSD 6al's on the ignition.

Do you happen to know what the gap might be out of the box?

Anyone with a feeler gauge could tell you...

...and nobody worth his salt would ever trust what the box says anyway. Always check.

Moral of the story? Buy a feeler gauge!

I have a gapper at home, I'm at work........ I didn't plan on sticking the plugs in without measuring the gaps first. This is why I asked for numbers

not sure for boosted, but on my peri port race car I run NGK racing, and we gap them .025
run at 9800 and use 2 msd 7al , those plugs last forever at that gap, so it seems to work for us....thats on race gas and premixed............at 20 degrees advanced
