Talking Are Your Nuts Chromed?

Ok, I am talking about the Nuts that hold down the UIM to the LIM and attach the TB to the UIM...I couldn't help but notice that my buddie's 7's nuts are chromed...

There are 5 (i think) towards the passenger side (USA vehicles) 4 nuts and one long bolt in the middle...also 4 nuts that hold the TB to the UIM...His nuts came that way and mine are kinda greenish blackish in colour? anyway, just wondering if these can be ordered or if I have to go get my nuts chromed for that special bling bling nut look...

I think most all '93 came with crome nuts...I've been trying to steal some from friends cars now that my UIM and LIM are polished...LOL

BTW: If you nuts stay "greenish blackish" for very long or start to ache, I would recommend seeing a doctor!

Reminds me a a good joke - well, maybe:

What do you call nuts on a wall?

Walnuts.

What do you call nuts on a chest?

Chestnuts.

What do you call nuts on a chin?

I think Mazda made a running production line change from Chrome nuts to Yellow Cad plated some time in the 94 model year production. and if you order replacements you will get the Cad plated ones, not chrome.

My 95 has the ugly nuts, I just sprayed them with alum colored paint from Walmart, its automotive paint so its pretty durable. It doesnt look as good as chromed but it blend good with polish and it cost me about $2 and 15 minutes.
