you know you're obsessed with your FD when...

you wake up with your heart racing because you just had a nightmare about wrecking it....like I did last night(had the bad dream not wrecked.....)

Oh, man, maybe I should see someone about this.....

or how's this?
You know youre obsessed when you park at work so that you can see your car, 1/2 because you want to make sure nothing happens to it, but 1/2 so you can stop, look at it, and say, "damn. my car kicks ***."

Know what's worse? Waking up on a Monday morning to find your car wrecked in the street. That's what happened to me last week; get her back tomorrow.

You tile your garage floor with black and white checkered tile, because you don't want your FD parking in a normal garage, and every time you come home from driving it, it's like parking in The Winners Circle!

I have pictures if anyone is interested, all of my neighbors think I'm nuts, because I wash/wax my car, AND my garage floor monthly!!

....when it sickens you to drive the company car, but at the same time you're happy you're not putting miles on your FD.

...When you cuss out the neighbors for doing construction because you just washed your car 20 minutes ago and there's a fine layer of dirt on it.

...You're 10min late to everything because you wipe/polish your car before leaving (damn neighbor's construction).

...You MUST park in a spot where you can see your car AND no one else is parked near it.

...You wish you were driving right now.

When you spend more on your time and $ on your FD than you do on everything else in your life. And when asked if you feel something is wrong with this picture you reply "no, what are you talking about"

When your girlfriend with the $$$ tells you she feels second to your car and you ask her if she would like to help wash it.

I know i'm guilty of washing my car continuously throughout the week, and spending more money on modifications than anything else. And the only thing I really use the internet for anymore is to get on the forum and read about fd's. Oh, and I also talked a guy at work into buying a 3rd gen so mine would have one parked beside it at work all day. His car is my cars bitch.

when you don't even own one yet and you're constantly hanging out in this section and dreaming about the day you finally get it.

when your new turbo timer isnt in yet, and you get somewhere and sit in the car with the engine idling and the hood up for a few minutes, and when someone walks by and looks at you funny, you stare at them like THEY'RE crazy.

When you are more worried about having the FD in prestine condition and you could care less about school, girls, family, etc. I invest way too much money, time, and love in my FD but its ok!

When you spend more time behind the wheel than behind your desk and the only time you get any work done is on rainy days. Worst of all you buy another one because your wife just had a baby and you won't have time to work on it so you need a spare while one or the other visits your best friend the mechanic for weeks at a time.
