I don't recall ever dreaming about my car ever... Well except for last night:

I had a dream that me and my bro were taking a ride on my FD and when I WOT I blew the **** out of it lol. It was not like a rotary blows (quite uneventful if it has ever happened to you) no it was more like when like piston. With a loud bang and **** is everywhere... lol catastrophic. Ok so I woke up and was glad that it was just a dream...

So I get up get up and get ready for work. Once I'm done I get into my car, pop the hood to check the oil and coolant. Left the hood open, started it up (just to see that there's nothing funny weird noises, oil leaks whatever). Now while the car is warming up in my garage, I walk away to get my stuff together. When I come back the coolant cap is off and there's ******* coolant everywhere as it's overflowing and my car is smoking out of the engine bay! **** I get in the cabin see my temp gauge it's pegged at the H! **** ****.. glance at my PFC and the H^2O temps read 138C!!! damn I'm done at this point I realize that my housings HAVE to be warped. So I turn off the car walk into my kitchen to contemplate what had just happened. And just like that *poof* I wake up! again???

So actually I was having a dream within a dream and within both those dreams I ruined my engine! ha ha. **** talk about being obsessed lol...

so am I alone in this?

 

I dreamed it moved under it's own power; without me pushing. That was pretty weird.

 

I have a re-occuring dream that the garage door falls off for no reason onto the cars. Have had that one for years.

I dream about my 7 more than my girl

 

Around the time my engine went I had a dream that I was driving it and it had zero power. In my dream I was trying to rationalize what the problem could be.

Now that I'm trying to source out new rims for it I can't sleep. I wake up in the middle of the night wondering if I got a PM or an email a bout the rims I want (forgestar f14).
I love this car but it is seriously messing with my mind and my pocket book.

 

I have a lot of weird and kinky dreams about Kai's car....

 

I do, but it's never a good one. It's always about it getting demolished one way or another.

 

I have this dream that one day its going to run right. I hope that dream comes true - maybe one day.

 

Had a dream about my handbrake failing, she rolled back into the main road nearby & got obliterated by a truck - Virtual me was not happy.

 

I have had a couple but the worst one was I dont recall how but I wrecked it (didnt take the car out for a whole week) . also one where I left it at my brothers place and it was stripped, I woke up so pissed at my brother til I realized it was a just a dream (went to go check on it).

 

Yup. I can only recall 2 dreams though but i think i had a couple more that i forgot.

Once was i was living in my old house (house before the one im living in now) and the driveway is HUGE, i mean gigantic. You can fit 9 cars. 3/3/3 pattern.

That house is on a one way street, pretty busy street, almost like a street somewhere in manhattan. That kind of busy.

ANyway, for some reason i woke up one morning and found my FD parked on the street with the other cars. EXCEPT it was facing oncoming traffic. It was parked in a spot but the only one facing the other way.

And the dude who parked behind me (but facing the front of the car since it was backwards lol) was ON TOP of my bumper/hood. ON F*CKING TOP OF THE HOOD LOL

I was like WTF and paniced. Dont really remember if i got the car out of the spot or what. All i remember is i paniced and found out my dad parked the car on the street.

Then i woke up lol


Next dream that i can recall is pretty short. Basically i take my FD out, only to find out the clutch is ROCK HARD and the gears are like if its cement. So hard to shift basically. And the brakes dont work much. But somehow im already on the road driving like this and im having a hard time.

Then i wake up lol

+1 My dreams are ether someone stealing the car or something falling on the car. Maybe its time to see my shrink again.

 

Funny this thread popped up cause I just had one the other night... Here's what I remember, the mob jacked my ride and hid it in a subterranean storage facility (or sewer?) underneath a local community park near my house. Other than that the only other thing I remember was climbing fences, machine guns, a big battle and when I finally sat in her to drive off I got the CLICK CLICK start problem!! Dammit!

I drove my car in quicksand while it slowly sank...

My FD turned became a dodge viper. It didn't transform but what I had looked like a viper but in my head it was still my FD.

Both times my fd was its original red color.

 

ive had dreams of my FD but i cant remember atm. i just know they were all bad and involved the car getting fucked up in some form or another.

Recently dreamed that I had 2 FD's... mine was sitting in the garage next to a VR with no drivetrain. In the dream, I knew that I would keep mine relatively stock, and build a crazy setup for the VR.

 

I keep having dreams of hearing noises in the garage like it's being stolen. Most of the time I snap awake right when I hear the sound and it makes me question whether it was the dream or a real sound. Which results in me running into the garage with a certain amalgamation of wood and chrome-lined steel that I like to call the Dragunova.

I get to the point where I'm like, "ok, this has been a false alarm the last 200 times, might as well just ignore the next one." But then I realize it only takes one night to lose the most important thing I own. So the weekly midnight lock 'n loads continue. It's tiresome.

The less frequent dreams are more like an episode of initial d, but with less dangerous/car-damaging stunts.

I had one dream that I was in the car, stuck in traffic, in 101 degree Texas weather, just watching my IAT rise. That was horrific...

 

I think I've dreamed about blowing my motor at least once.

i had a dream once mine was running, no time to get any work done on it and I took over my parents mortgage maybe all this overtime at work will revive her.
