Here's my issue.

The car idles like crap. It hunts, smokes and hesitates when I blip the throttle. I searched through a bunch of threads that addressed the TPS as the primary culprit.

I've checked for vacuum leaks, checked the TPS voltage (in spec) and looked around for anything funny. I'm now at my wits end.

What am I missing?

Mods are:

~300 miles on a stock port rebuild
M2 large SMIC
Greddy TB elbow
M2 ECU
M2 Airbox

 

clutch switch good? no check engine light?

 

There is a CEL. It's pulling up the EGR. EGR plug is disconnected but I didn't figure that would cause an idle issue. What about the clutch switch? How would one check that?

 

This is getting really irritating. No matter what I do, I can't seem to get the idle to stabilize... :/

 

Problem solved. I had the Fuel Temp sensor and the Thermoswitch connectors backwards. Oopsies!
