Most of the full systems have been designed to sold as individual components also. If your full system components are available to be purchased individually, they **should** bolt up to the oem catalytic converter.
I have found that quality jap parts 'bolt up' in terms of bolt hole locations and also the pipes are correct however the gaskets simply do not seal unless the whole system is the one pipe size design.

Just FYI guys.
1. I had to use the stock gasket as the original studs are bigger than a standard exhaust bolt and I decided I would reuse them as they were fused in and removing them may crack something and I also have the mid and dump pipe waiting for me to get a power fc.
2. Removing the exhaust hanging points from rubber hangers. Remove the back one first then for rears unbolting the drivers side (RHD) hanger from the original exhaust first makes it much easier to remove the pin from the rubber on the car. WD40 will make the rubber softer and libricate the pins and rubber hangers too. Either pull really hard, tear some rubber smashing the back of your hand to whatever is behind it once it let's go or WD40 generously into whatever crevace you can. Wait about a minute and it should slide off but you still need to out it under pressure but will controllably come off.
3.. Any reused rusty exhaust parts should be minimum WD40ed soaked and greased (with actual grease not oil) before reuse.
Cheers have a great day/night guys.
