Yay, almost time to swap engines.
So I had been planning, saving, and buying parts for a while. For my rebuild/single turbo conversion. I'm almost done buying everything I need wohoo. Luckily thanks to our good ol for sale section, I managed to get a good deal on a rebuilt engine and a used T78 kit. Other things I have bought from various websites are a PFC, greddy type-s, throttle elbow, acv-r boost controller, ordered peakboost vmic kit from gotham and a koyo rad (still waiting on it). All I need left is my fuel set up, pump, rails, injectors, pressure reg, and I'll be set. It feels good to do things the right way ^_^ I love my money pit. My engine came in this past thursday I got so bored I just had put it on the stand and bolt the turbo up just to see what it looks like (pics below).
When it gets to the time when I will be swapping the engine and doing the single conversion. I'm gonna be a lil neverous cause I've never done an engine swap on my own car before, but I'll have my camera ready with lots of ziplock bags and tape to label stuff. I hope this all goes well when comes to the time of cranking it for the first time. I've been researching like crazy on everything but my turbo conversion. Just need to figure out what to keep as far as vacuum. I'll be eliminating all my emissions equipment too to help simplify it as well. That's all I got for now. I'll be making a thead when it comes time to put my baby under the knife. Back to searching. Man I love this forum how I could I survive without it
Thanks to everyone that already has posts about I need to learn about to help me become more knowledgable about teh wonderful world of teh 7!!
P.S. if anyone is looking to sell their td06-25g please pm me, it's the size I originally wanted. Have a great 7 filled day
